Role Description The Apprentice - Hostess role is a full-time, on-site position based in Lucknow. The person in this role welcomes guests upon arrival, manages seating arrangements, and ensures a smooth flow in the restaurant or dining area. Day-to-day responsibilities include handling reservations, maintaining accurate guest records, and coordinating with service teams to optimize table turnover and guest satisfaction. The Apprentice - Hostess responds to guest inquiries in person and over the phone, provides menu and venue information, and supports the team in maintaining a clean, organized, and professional environment. This role also involves learning standard operating procedures, following safety and hygiene guidelines, and contributing to an inclusive, service-oriented atmosphere.

Qualifications

Strong Interpersonal Skills and Customer Service abilities to create welcoming, positive guest experiences.Effective Communication and Phone Etiquette skills for clear, professional interactions in person and over the phone.Basic knowledge of Reservations handling, including managing booking systems and guest lists.Ability to work in a fast-paced hospitality environment, with attention to detail and reliability in following procedures.Willingness to learn and develop within the hospitality industry; prior front-of-house or guest-facing experience is an advantage.Professional appearance and conduct, with the ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.Basic computer literacy for using reservation tools and internal communication platforms.
