Role Description This is a full-time, on-site banking role based in Kolkata. The role involves assisting customers with account-related queries, transactions, and digital banking services while ensuring a high standard of service and compliance with bank policies. Responsibilities include evaluating customer credit requirements, supporting the processing of loan and insurance products, and maintaining accurate records and documentation. The role also requires close coordination with internal teams to support branch operations, promote banking products, and contribute to business growth in the local market. The individual will be expected to follow regulatory guidelines, manage risk prudently, and uphold the bank’s commitment to financial inclusion.

Qualifications

Candidates should possess strong Finance and Credit skills, including basic understanding of lending products, risk assessment, and banking operations.Candidates should possess excellent Communication and Customer Service skills to interact effectively with diverse customers and resolve queries professionally.Candidates should possess knowledge of Insurance products and related banking services to support cross-selling and customer education.Candidates should possess proficiency with digital tools and banking systems, including core banking software and standard office applications.Relevant academic qualification such as a bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.Prior experience in retail banking, microfinance, or financial services, especially in rural or semi-urban segments, will be an advantage.Strong ethical standards, attention to detail, and ability to work in a target-driven, regulatory-compliant environment are essential.
