Program Manager

Job Summary

The Program Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, implementing, and evaluating Continuing Medical Education programs. The role ensures that educational activities meet applicable accreditation, compliance, quality, and documentation requirements while delivering a high-quality experience for faculty, healthcare professionals, and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and manage CME/CDE/CVE/RTM/FGD programs from initial planning through completion and evaluation.

Coordinate educational needs assessments, learning objectives, faculty engagement, agendas, and program logistics.

Ensure activities comply with applicable accreditation standards, policies, and independence requirements.

Manage faculty and speaker documentation, disclosures, conflict-of-interest processes, and required certifications.

Coordinate with medical, scientific, commercial, compliance, marketing, and external partners as appropriate.

Manage CME budgets, vendors, contracts, timelines, and program deliverables.

Oversee accreditation submissions, activity documentation, attendance records, evaluations, and certificates.

Monitor learner participation, outcomes, and educational effectiveness.

Prepare reports, dashboards, and post-program analyses for internal and external stakeholders.

Maintain accurate session records and support audits or accreditation reviews.

Identify opportunities to improve program quality, learner engagement, and operational efficiency.

Stay current with changes in CME regulations, accreditation requirements, and industry best practices.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in healthcare, life sciences, education, business administration, or a related field.

Master's degree is preferred.

Strong understanding of event accreditation and compliance requirements.

Experience managing multiple programs, stakeholders, budgets, and deadlines.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Strong project management, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
