Full job description
Title: Mold Designer
Key Responsibilities
Design and develop press tools, progressive dies, and stamping dies.Create detailed 3D models and manufacturing drawings.Coordinate with production, tool room, and quality teams during tool development.Support tool trials, troubleshooting, and design modifications.Develop cost-effective and manufacturable tooling solutions.
Qualification
Diploma / Post Diploma in Tool & Die Making, Tool Design, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.
Experience
5+ years of experience in Press Tool / Stamping Die Design.Hands-on experience in designing Progressive Dies, Compound Dies, and Sheet Metal Stamping Tools.Proficiency in NX, CATIA, Creo, SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar CAD software.Strong understanding of sheet metal forming processes, GD&T, and tooling manufacturing practices.Experience in Plastic Injection Mold Design.
