Job PurposeManage the end-to-end supply chain flow for silver manufacturing — inventory control, qualityassurance, production material planning, logistics, and finished goods dispatch — ensuringcost efficiency, timely availability, product quality, and tight metal accountability given the highvalue and purity-sensitivity of the material.

Key ResponsibilitiesInventory & Metal Accounting• Maintain precise stock records of silver at every stage — raw bullion, work-in-progress,scrap, and finished goods• Reconcile metal input-output ratios and monitor wastage/melting losses• Implement systems for lot tracking and batch traceability (critical for BIS/hallmarking compliance)• Coordinate physical stock verification/audits and manage insurance for high-value inventory• Recommend optimal stock levels to minimize working capital tied up in inventoryQuality Assurance• Conduct incoming quality checks on raw silver/bullion for purity before it enters production stock• Verify quality of materials at receipt from job-work/outsourced units before acceptance into inventory• Coordinate with QC/QA lab for purity testing (fineness, hallmark compliance) at key stock transfer points• Conduct outgoing quality inspection of finished goods before dispatch, ensuring conformity to specifications and hallmarking standards• Maintain quality records, inspection reports, and non-conformance/rejection logs• Drive root-cause analysis and corrective action for quality issues linked to storage, handling, or vendor/job-work output• Ensure proper packaging standards are followed to prevent damage, tarnishing, or contamination during storage and transitLogistics & Distribution• Plan secure transportation of silver and finished goods (armored/insured logistics as needed)• Ensure timely delivery to customers/distributors in line with production schedulesPlanning & Coordination• Align material flow and dispatch plans with production schedules and sales forecasts• Coordinate with production, finance, and sales teams for demand-supply planningCompliance & Risk Management• Ensure compliance with BIS hallmarking, GST, customs, and precious metal trade regulations related to storage, movement, and dispatch• Maintain documentation for statutory, quality, and financial audits• Manage risk related to theft, material loss, quality deviations, and in-transit securityCost & Reporting• Monitor and control logistics costs, inventory carrying costs, and cost of quality (rejections/rework)• Prepare MIS reports on stock position, quality metrics, dispatch performance, and cost trends• Support budgeting for inventory holding, logistics, and QA operations

Key Skills & Competencies• Strong understanding of inventory control and metal reconciliation for precious metals• Working knowledge of purity testing methods and hallmarking/quality standards for silver• Logistics and distribution management, including secure/insured transport of high- value goods• Knowledge of BIS hallmarking, customs, and export-import documentation (if applicable)• Proficiency in ERP/inventory management systems

Qualifications & Experience• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Commerce, Engineering, or Metallurgy (MBA inOperations/Supply Chain preferred)• 8–12+ years of experience in supply chain/materials management, ideally in preciousmetals, jewellery, or bullion trading, with exposure to quality control processes• Experience handling high-value inventory, purity/quality checks, and regulatorycompliance preferred
