Full job description
We are looking for a Backend Developer with data engineering experience to build scalable backend applications and data processing solutions.
The core requirements for the job include the following:
Must Have:
Java OR Scala OR Kotlin; at least one is mandatory.
Spark / PySpark experience.
Strong coding and problem-solving skills.
Hands-on backend development experience.
Good exposure to data engineering/data processing.
Good to Have:
GCP experience; preferred but not mandatory.
Experience with large-scale data processing.
Knowledge of distributed systems and data pipelines.
Important:
Spark/PySpark alone is not enough.
Candidates must have Java, Scala, or Kotlin experience.
Strong practical coding skills are very important.
Candidates should have hands-on development experience, not just theoretical knowledge.
Preferred Profiles:
Backend-focused: Java / Scala / Kotlin + Backend + Spark/PySpark + Data Engineering.
Data Engineering-focused: Spark/PySpark + Java/Scala/Kotlin + Strong Coding + Backend/Data Engineering.
GCP is an added advantage, but not mandatory.
