Software Development Engineer I-2

3-5 years of administration, configure, upgrade, and support mainframe development tools (like ISPW) and utilities experience.Provide operational support for critical tooling platforms and ensure high availability.Strong knowledge of JCL, SDSF, ISPF, CA7, TWS/OPC/IZWS, VSAM, Cobol, ISPWParticipate in on-call rotations and support major infrastructure upgrades and migrations.Evaluate and pilot emerging technologies for mainframe modernization.Implement solutions such as ZOWE, VS Code integrations, APIs, and developer productivity platforms.Enable the adoption of AI-assisted development tools such as Cursor, GitHub Copilot, Glean, and similar platforms.Support initiatives involving APIs, scripting, DevOps, and CI/CD practices.Build integrations between mainframe and distributed/open systems platforms.Proven experience in CI/CD design and automation (Jenkins, Azure Devops, Chef).Proficiency in scripting/programming (Python,JavaScript, and PowerShell).Identify opportunities to streamline workflows through AI and automation.
