Position Summary:The Precisely/Evolve MDM Analyst will serve as e.l.f. Beauty’s primary technical owner of the Precisely/Evolve platform, driving data quality, enrichment, and master data management across customer, vendor, and product domains. This is a platform-forward role for someone who is hands-on with Precisely/Evolve workflows and brings the analytical mindset to continuously improve data health at scale. Experience with SAP master data is strongly encouraged — the two platforms are closely linked in our environment — and candidates who bring dual platform fluency will have a meaningful advantage. The ideal hire is proactive, technically sharp, and eager to build and improve, not just maintain.

Responsibilities

Precisely/Evolve Platform - Primary Focus

Own the administration, configuration, and ongoing optimization of Precisely/Evolve for data quality, enrichment, matching, and survivorship across customer, vendor, and product master domainsDesign, build, test, and deploy data quality rules, enrichment workflows, and matching/survivorship logic within the Precisely/Evolve platformMonitor pipeline performance, proactively identify processing gaps or failures, and implement improvements to accuracy and throughputEvaluate and adopt new Precisely/Evolve features and product updates relevant to e.l.f.’s data environmentDevelop and maintain technical documentation for all Precisely/Evolve workflows, configurations, and data quality rulesServe as the internal subject matter expert on the Precisely/Evolve platform, supporting onboarding, training, and troubleshooting for business and IT users

MDM Domain Knowledge — Required Foundation

Apply master data management principles across customer, vendor, and product domains to define what “good data” looks like — including data standards, field-level rules, hierarchy structures, and source-of-truth logicDesign matching and survivorship rules grounded in business context: understanding which record wins, why, and what the downstream impact is if that logic is wrongDevelop and enforce data quality thresholds by domain, with clear understanding of business consequences for each type of quality failurePartner with data owners to define and document master data standards that translate directly into platform configuration

Cross-Domain Data Stewardship

Apply technical and domain expertise across all three master data domains — customer, vendor, and product — ensuring consistency, completeness, and accuracy across platforms and downstream systemsPartner with Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, and IT to understand domain-specific requirements and translate them into technical rules, validation logic, and platform configurationCollaborate with IT on integration design to ensure Precisely/Evolve outputs flow correctly into connected systems including SAP

Requirements

5+ years of hands-on experience with Precisely (formerly Syncsort/Trillium) or Evolve, including workflow configuration, data quality rule development, and platform administration — requiredDemonstrated MDM domain knowledge across one or more of the following: customer master, vendor master, product/material master — required. Breadth across all three is a strong plusAbility to design matching, survivorship, and enrichment logic from first principles — not just execute pre-built configurations — requiredExperience with SAP master data management (Material Master, Customer Master, and/or Vendor Master) strongly preferred; dual Precisely/Evolve + SAP experience is a significant differentiatorProven ability to identify data quality gaps and proactively drive platform or process improvementsStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with close attention to data detail and integrityAbility to work cross-functionally with business and IT teams, translating technical concepts clearly for non-technical audiencesExcellent verbal and written communication skills in English; ability to collaborate effectively across time zones with global teamsBachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experienceExperience with SAP S/4HANA, SAP MDG (Master Data Governance), or data integration middleware a plusBeauty, retail, or consumer packaged goods industry background preferred but not required
