About Firework
Join Firework – Where Innovation Meets Impact
Firework is redefining the future of commerce as an AI and video commerce company — combining cutting-edge technology, an exclusive network of enterprise brands and retailers, and a first-mover position to win the agentic commerce race.
We've built the world's most advanced and largest video commerce platform, trusted by global brands and leading retailers. But we're more than software — our compounding network effect grows stronger with every partner we add, bringing the energy of in-store experiences online and transforming how businesses engage, convert, and build lasting customer relationships at scale.
Having raised over $235M to date, led by investors such as SoftBank Vision Fund 2, and operating at global scale, we offer unparalleled opportunities to solve complex challenges and drive meaningful impact in the future of connected commerce.
If you're curious, ambitious, and energized by big ideas — Firework is the place to grow, lead, and shape what comes next. Together.
Summary
We are looking for an exceptional Chief of Staff to work directly with our Chief Business Officer and help drive some of the company’s highest-priority growth initiatives.
This is a unique opportunity for an ambitious, highly analytical generalist who wants broad exposure to how a high-growth technology company operates and scales. You will work across strategy, growth, go-to-market, operations, partnerships, new initiatives, and special projects—turning ideas into action and helping the CBO and leadership team move faster.
This is not a traditional Chief of Staff role focused primarily on meetings, presentations, or administration. You will be expected to own problems, build solutions, analyze opportunities, launch initiatives, and drive measurable business outcomes.
The ideal candidate has the mindset of a future entrepreneur: intellectually curious, resourceful, comfortable with ambiguity, highly analytical, and energized by building from zero to one. The role is particularly suited for someone who ultimately wants to build or lead a company of their own.
What you’ll be doing
Drive Strategic Growth Initiatives
Partner directly with the Chief Business Officer to identify, prioritize, and execute the company’s most important growth initiatives
Own strategic projects from initial hypothesis and analysis through execution, measurement, and iteration
Evaluate new markets, customer segments, products, partnerships, and business models that could accelerate company growth
Conduct market, competitive, customer, and financial analysis to identify new opportunities
Build business cases and translate insights into clear recommendations and action plans
Help launch and operationalize new initiatives, stepping in wherever needed to get them from 0 → 1
Operate Across the Business
Work cross-functionally with Sales, Customer Success, Marketing, Product, Finance, Operations, and other teams to move critical initiatives forward
Serve as a connective layer between the CBO and teams across the organization, ensuring priorities translate into execution
Identify organizational or operational bottlenecks and develop practical solutions
Establish operating mechanisms, dashboards, metrics, and processes that create greater accountability and visibility
Lead projects where ownership may initially be unclear and build the structure required to make them successful
Step into emerging business needs and special situations where additional leadership and problem-solving are needed
Turn Data Into Decisions
Analyze business performance, pipeline, customer behavior, market trends, and other data to identify opportunities and risks
Develop models, analyses, and dashboards that help leadership make faster, better-informed decisions
Bring structured thinking to ambiguous problems and distill complex information into simple recommendations
Track the impact of strategic initiatives and proactively adjust plans based on results
Leverage AI, automation, and emerging technology to accelerate research, analysis, execution, and internal productivity
We’ll be excited if you have
Approximately 2-3 years of high-impact professional experience, ideally across management consulting, investment banking, venture capital, private equity, technology, startups, strategy, business operations, or another highly analytical environment.
Strong academic background from a top Indian university. Examples may include IITs, IIMs, ISB, BITS Pilani, Delhi University, NITs, or other highly selective institutions.
Exceptional creative, analytical, and structured problem-solving skills
Strong business judgment with the ability to quickly understand unfamiliar industries, markets, and problems
Comfortable working with data, financial models, business cases, and performance metrics
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with senior executives
Highly organized and able to manage multiple fast-moving priorities without losing attention to detail
AI-native and technology-savvy, with curiosity around how emerging technology can transform the way businesses operate and grow
Experience working in or closely with high-growth startups strongly preferred
Bias toward action—you would rather build a first version, test it, learn, and improve than spend excessive time pursuing perfection
Low ego and comfortable doing whatever is necessary to get an important initiative across the finish line
Ability to work U.S. business hours
