As an Advanced Elect Design Engr here at Honeywell, you will play a key role in leading and managing electrical engineering projects. You will be responsible for overseeing the design, development, and implementation of electrical systems and components. Resposibilities

Leads the architecture, schematic design, and PCB layout of complex electronic systems. This role directly owns component lifecycle management, ensuring products are resilient against supply chain disruptions and component obsolescence (EOL).The responsibilities include detailed electronic design, verification testing and interaction with functional teams (such as mechanical design, simulation, drafting, ECAD and evaluation). Responsible for technical report creation, product failure analysis, documentation & progress reporting. He/She needs to have good exposure to New Product development with at least one product. Cross-Functional Leadership: Proven track record of directing global, multi-stakeholder teams to deliver complex NPI projects on scheduleAdditional responsibilities include test lab set up for sensors and test setup related debugging activities.

QUALIFICATION: B.E/ B. Tech/ M.E/ M. Tech in Electronics or Electrical engineering

Essential Skills

Experience in digital and analog circuit design with compliance with EMI/EMCGood Knowledge of IEC62304 or ISO13485, healthcare / Medical Device Quality Management System and documentation processExperience in schematic capture, board layout, constraint-driven design, and manufacturing data generation.Experience in writing test strategy, Test plan and Test cases for pre-compliance and compliance for Electrical, Functional, EMI EMC, Environmental requirements as per standards,Strong Experience in High-speed board design Experience in High board design consideration, signal integrityInvolve in HDLC (Hardware Development Life Cycle) for IEC60601Hands-on experience with Micro-controller Design and Digital data conversion, designing with opamps, , linear & switching regulators.Perform advanced Design for Manufacturing, Design for Assembly, and Design for Test reviews using integrated tools such as Valor NPI to minimize design iterations, reduce engineering changes, and support efficient production release.Evaluate, test, and approve second-source parts for the Approved Vendor List (AVL) to eliminate single-source risks.Monitor component lifecycles (NRND/EOL) using tools like Silicon Expert. Drive circuit redesigns or execute Last Time Buys (LTB) to mitigate risks.Hands-on experience of ASIC & Micro-controller interfacing, Analog to Digital data conversion, designing with opamps, transistors, MOSFET, linear & switching regulators.Knowledge of EMC (e.g., FCC, CE, CISPR, IEC, UL) & Safety (IEC 62368, etc.) Standards and Regulatory compliance processes. Hands on experience with digital oscilloscopes, logic analyzers. Able to work with global partners and cross functional stake holders.Knowledge of the 6-Sigma ToolsEDA & PLM Tools: Expert in CAD software (Altium, Cadence, Siemens) and PLM environments (Teamcenter, Arena, Agile).Expert in O&M Management
