Job Description
Role Objectives:
Coordinate RWD data ingestion and quality support, acting as the operational bridge between Global Evidence Generation / RWD CoE business users and DD&T technical ingestion teams. Ensure ingestion requests, data quality checks, conformance checks, trend checks, issue logs, and archival records are complete and traceable to enable DD&T and Global Evidence Generation / RWD owners with fit-for-purpose interpretation and data-readiness decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
Data Ingestion Coordination
• Receive requests to ingest new data sources or refresh existing datasets and confirm business use case, source details, required timing, access needs, and intended analytics use
• Route ingestion requests to DD&T with required intake information, mapping specifications, pipeline requirements, governance constraints, and privacy considerations
• Track DD&T ingestion progress, dependencies, open questions, clarifications, issue status, and readiness milestones
• Update data ingestion trackers and store request records, source details, business context, and completion status
Data Quality, Conformance & Trend Checks
• Receive datasets or refreshed extracts for quality review with expected use case, quality-check scope, and known data concerns
• Apply defined data quality, conformance, and trend-check procedures using approved templates and thresholds
• Run routine checks for completeness, consistency, outliers, expected trends, conformance to standards, and recurring anomalies
• Document findings, gaps, anomalies, recurring issues, and potential downstream impact
Issue Management & Escalation
• Flag unclear gaps, quality concerns, access constraints, or fit-for-purpose questions to US data / evidence owners
• Coordinate with DD&T and US owners to resolve ingestion blockers, missing inputs, mapping questions, and data quality issues
• Store check results, issue history, data quality logs, and decision outcomes
• Support improvements to data quality templates, ingestion trackers, conformance checks, and escalation rules
Qualifications:
Experience: >2 years of related work experience; >2 years of experience in the biopharmaceutical industry; experience in RWD operations, data quality, data management, clinical data operations, HEOR / RWE analytics, or evidence generation operations preferred
Technical skills:
• Working knowledge of RWD sources, data ingestion workflows, data quality checks, conformance checks, and data issue documentation
• Familiarity with claims, EHR, registry, trial, or observational datasets
• Understanding of data standards such as OMOP, CDISC, or equivalent conformance frameworks preferred
• Ability to coordinate effectively with DD&T, Global Evidence Generation, RWD CoE, data owners, and analytics users
• Experience with SQL, data profiling tools, dashboards, data catalogs, or quality trackers preferred
