The Opportunity
The Agile Capability Lead drives the development of Agile capabilities across the organization through structured learning, maturity assessment, training, and practical enablement. The role connects capability development with delivery performance to identify gaps and target improvement efforts.
Reports to: Agile & Delivery Excellence Lead – Local Lead
Team context: Member of Agile Transformation Office
Scope: Coaches approximately 10 teams / 2 value streams / ARTs, partnering across engineering, product, and business functions
Location & work model: India, Bangalore, hybrid work model, no travel expectation.
Key Responsibilities
Agile Capability & Maturity
• Own and evolve the Agile capability and maturity framework, learning pathways, and assessment approach.
• Analyze maturity and delivery performance data to identify capability gaps and improvement priorities.
• Support development of Agile standards, playbooks, and communities of practice.
Training & Facilitation
• Design and facilitate Agile training, workshops, and practical learning sessions.
• Support teams and practitioners in applying Agile practices to day-to-day delivery.
• Develop reusable learning materials and enablement assets.
Platform Enablement
• Manage Comparative Agility as the platform supporting maturity assessments and insights.
• Drive Takeda.io adoption across delivery engineering teams.
• Monitor engagement and ensure platforms effectively support capability development.
Skills & Experience
• Practical experience in Agile delivery environments in roles such as Scrum Master, Release Train Engineer or Agile Project Manager.
• Strong understanding of Agile principles, practices, and delivery roles.
• Experience delivering training and facilitating workshops.
• Strong communication, facilitation, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Ability to interpret maturity and performance data and translate insights into practical actions.
• Agile certification and experience in a global organization are advantageous.

• High-quality training and facilitation with demonstrated application in delivery.
