Job Description – Solution Lead – EPS Planning & AI Enablement (BY COE)

“Lead the transformation to a cognitive, AI-driven supply chain by integrating planning (IBP) and execution (SCE) into a unified, closed-loop decisioning ecosystem”

Role Overview

This role will drive end-to-end supply chain transformation across Planning (IBP) and Execution within the Blue Yonder COE, with focus on:

Cognitive Business Planning (CBP) adoptionAI/GenAI-enabled decision intelligenceTight integration between planning and execution layers

The leader will ensure synchronized decision-making from strategy → planning → execution, enabling faster, more reliable and scalable supply chain outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

EPS Planning Transformation & DeliveryLead BY-based planning solutions across:Demand, Pre-solve and Supply, Writebacks, Scenario Planning, New product planning, FNE and NGOPDrive migration to CBP-enabled cognitive planning platform for all applicationsEnable real-time plan adjustments aligned to execution signalsSimplify planning landscape with focus on:AI adoption for user productivityProcess StandardizationSolver reliability SCE (Supply Chain Execution) Integration & Optimization – NEW

Execution-Planning Convergence

Design and implement closed-loop planning → execution integrationPlanning outputs → Execution systems (order promising, order fulfillment, production execution, Resource Capacity, inventory,)Execution feedback → Planning adjustments (near real-time) across demand signals

Execution Systems Leadership

Lead capabilities across SCE domains:Order promising / ATP / CTPSupply management & deploymentManufacturing & supply execution alignmentMaterials planningLogistics & fulfillment visibilityEnsure tight integration between:BY planning systemsERP (S/4) (To-Be)Execution platforms (ECC)Data lake & Reporting (Snowflake)

Required Skills & Experience

Core Functional Expertise

Strong experience in:Supply Chain Planning (S&OP, Demand/Supply planning, Order promising)Good Exposure to Supply Chain Execution (Order management, Inventory, Fulfillment, Logistics)Experience with:Blue Yonder (planning + execution modules preferred)Exposure to Kinaxis is an added advantage

EPS Roadmap & CBP Skills (Critical)

Experience in:Planning transformation programsCBP / cognitive planning platformsUnderstanding of:Agent-based planning and executionScenario simulation and orchestration

AI / GenAI Capabilities

Experience in:AI/ML use cases in planning & executionPredictive and prescriptive analyticsAI agents / copilots / automationAbility to:Translate AI into operational decisions

Data & Technology Skills

Knowledge of:Snowflake / cloud data platformsIntegration patterns (API, event-driven, ETL)Planning + execution data models
