Job Description

What you'll get to do in this role:

Design and implement features end-to-end, from technical design through deployment and monitoring

Write high-quality, well-tested, maintainable code and actively participate in code reviews

Break down ambiguous problems into clear technical plans and execute independently

Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to translate requirements into scalable solutions

Contribute to architectural decisions within your team's scope of ownership

Debug and resolve complex production issues, including on-call rotation participation

Mentor junior engineers (IC1/IC2) through pairing, code review, and design discussions

Contribute to and champion engineering best practices (testing, documentation, CI/CD)

Participate in sprint planning, estimation, and retrospectives as an active contributor

Qualifications

What you must have to be successful in this role:

5–8 years of professional software engineering experience

1+ year of practical experience with AI/ML-powered features, agentic systems, or LLM-based tooling

Strong proficiency in programming languages like Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, Python.

Experience designing and building scalable backend services or full-stack applications

Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and system design fundamentals

Experience with REST/API-driven development and integration patterns

Track record of owning features from design to production

Strong debugging and problem-solving skills in complex, distributed systems

Exposure to AI-native development tools (e.g., Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot)
