Your Impact

As a Senior Software Engineer, you'll use your deep technical expertise to design, build and optimize complex features across our image processing and OCR products. You'll handle the full development lifecycle: system analysis and design, research, implementation, performance tuning, maintenance and troubleshooting, across multiple platforms and devices. Beyond delivering features, you'll help shape the technical direction of the product by evaluating new technologies and driving how we adopt them.

What The Role Offers

Major emphasis on writing excellent code following industry best practicesCreate and maintain technical documentationDesign and development of Capture components related to capture, processing, and recognition of business documentsOwnership and technical leadership end-to-end; design, development, validation and test automation, deployment, and support in production.Work closely with Quality Engineering to review test plans and test casesProvide technical guidance for major software initiatives, including technology standardization and modernization.Team technical leadership: distribute tasks, track progress, technical risk assessment, problem solving, early risk notification, report progress and status to manager.Perform all assigned jobs with minimal assistance from the supervisorRespond promptly and professionally to bug reports and customer escalations

What You Need To Succeed

Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field6+ years of hands-on experience developing enterprise software productsProven track record of building, maintaining and improving enterprise applicationsAdvanced proficiency in C++ and C, including modern C++ (C++11/14/17)Strong command of data structures, algorithms, multithreading and performance optimizationSolid understanding of object-oriented design and design patterns, and judgment on when to apply themExperience with GCC Complier and Linux or open to work on Linux is a plusStrong debugging, triaging and root-cause analysis skills for complex technical issuesAbility to understand, maintain and extend large, complex legacy codebasesExcellent verbal and written communication skills

Good hands-on in software development using C++ and CExperience in development and support of enterprise applicationsExperience in use of Microsoft Visual StudioExperience with GITExperience with Image processing software development and familiar with OCR technology is a plusKnowledge of C# and .NET framework is a plusExperience with messaging technologies such as RabbitMQ, Exposure to Google Cloud Pub/Sub, or equivalent Exposure to AI-assisted development tools like GitHub Copilot Content management and Capture (IDP) domain experience would be a plus
