Opportunity snapshot:
Member of the production support team, responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and stability of the corporate superannuation fund technology service. This role encompasses managing day-to-day activities, including monitoring, troubleshooting, maintaining, and improving platform performance and supporting the business with key processes and service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:
Incident response for production hosted environmentsMonitor and support production systems; resolve incidents and perform root cause analysisSupport and execute deployments and configuration changes in production and non-production environments following change management processesCoordinate between operations, business teams, delivery teams, and external vendors facilitate service restoration and deliveryMaintain accurate documentation of incidents, fixes, and operational procedures while identifying opportunities for process improvement
Skills and Competencies:
IT degree, or equivalent experience4+ years of experience supporting enterprise application environmentsSolid understanding of DevOps and Site Reliability Engineering practicesWorking knowledge of SDLC principles and methodologiesPrior experience with Enterprise Disaster Recovery, backup processes, and system patchingProficiency working with ITIL based processes and systemsUnderstanding of infrastructure hosted on GCPA passion for continuous improvementAbility to troubleshoot complex application, database, and system integrationsMonitoring system and application health and alertsFlexibility in working arrangementsTeam player and a can-do attitudeStrong problem solving and communication skills
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in C#, Python, Bash/Shell, and MS SQL development and debuggingExperience with ODBC, SPAN RPC, ASP, JBOSS, and .NET services/applicationsFamiliarity with monitoring and observability tools such as Elastic, LogicMonitor, DynatraceExperience with ServiceNOW, JIRA, and ConfluenceUnderstanding of application debugging using Visual Studio and log analysisWorking knowledge of CI/CD tooling such as Jenkins, GitHub, SonarQube, NexusIQUnix and Windows Server experience
Desirable Skills (Nice to have):
Exposure to Bravura products or similar Superannuation technology stacks and architecture.Experience working with Control-M or other batch scheduling systemsExperience working with Launch Darkly or similar feature enablement/release platformsAwareness of evolving enterprise application architectures and integration patterns
