Bachelor's degree or above in Medical, Biomedical Engineering, Life Sciences, Business, or a related field.3–8 years of sales experience in the medical device industry, preferably with direct experience in laparoscopy, minimally invasive surgery, surgical imaging, energy devices, or laparoscopic instruments.Candidates with sales experience working with laparoscopic systems, 4K/3D imaging systems, ICG/fluorescence systems, electrosurgical units, or laparoscopic instruments will be highly preferred.Strong understanding of laparoscopic procedures and operating room workflows, with the ability to communicate effectively with surgeons and clinical users.Hands-on OR experience is strongly preferred. The candidate should be comfortable entering the operating room, supporting clinical procedures, and conducting product demonstrations or clinical applications.Strong clinical knowledge and communication skills, with the ability to understand surgeons' clinical requirements and translate them into appropriate product solutions.Experience working with surgeons, KOLs, hospitals, distributors, and procurement teams is preferred.Proven ability to independently develop new accounts, manage sales opportunities, and drive projects from initial customer contact through product evaluation, tender/procurement, order placement, installation, and post-sales support.Strong interpersonal, presentation, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.Willingness to travel extensively across South India and support surgeries, demonstrations, conferences, and customer activities as required.Good command of English; proficiency in relevant South Indian languages will be an advantage.
