MongoDB is seeking a Partner Solutions Architect to focus on our Large Deals exclusively on strategic, high-value pursuits with Global System Integrators (GSIs). This role will lead the technical strategy and execution of complex GSI-led bids, helping MongoDB and its GSI partners develop differentiated solutions and secure large, strategic opportunities.

The successful candidate will operate across MongoDB, GSI partners, customers, sales teams, delivery organizations, and executive stakeholders to develop compelling joint solutions, strengthen technical win strategies, and drive successful outcomes for large transformation programs.

We are looking for candidates who are based in Bengaluru/Gurugram/Delhi/Hyderabad/Chennai for our hybrid working model.

Responsibilities

Lead the technical architecture and solution strategy for large, complex, and strategic bidsPartner with sales, bid leadership, account teams, product specialists, services, legal, finance, and executive sponsors to deliver coordinated pursuitsDevelop joint value propositions, solution architectures, technical proposals, statements of work, and bid responsesEngage partner architects and delivery teams to validate feasibility, implementation approach, scope, risks, and dependenciesFacilitate technical discovery, architecture workshops, solution reviews, demonstrations, proof-of-value activities, and executive presentationsTranslate customer business outcomes into scalable MongoDB-based architectures and partner delivery modelsShape partner-led modernization, migration, cloud, application development, data, analytics, and AI solutionsIdentify technical risks, competitive threats, delivery constraints, and commercial considerations early in the bid lifecycleCreate reusable bid assets, reference architectures, technical content, and best practices for future pursuitsEnsure proposed solutions align with MongoDB product capabilities, partner expertise, security requirements, and customer success criteriaSupport deal qualification, opportunity prioritization, account planning, and pipeline-generation activitiesCoordinate technical responses across multiple partners and ensure consistency in messaging, assumptions, and commitmentsMentor field Solutions Architects and partner technical teams on large-bid strategy and executionCapture field feedback and communicate product, capability, and partner requirements to internal teams

Required Qualifications

Experience in a customer-facing Solutions Architect, Partner Solutions Architect, Presales Architect, Consulting Architect, or equivalent roleExperience supporting complex enterprise bids, tenders, RFPs, or strategic pursuitsProven ability to design and communicate distributed, scalable, secure, and highly available architecturesExperience working with Global System Integrators (GSIs), including GSI sales, consulting, architecture, and delivery teamsStrong understanding of cloud platforms, modern application architectures, microservices, APIs, data platforms, and DevOpsExperience developing technical proposals, solution designs, presentations, and executive-level bid contentAbility to manage multiple stakeholders, work under tight deadlines, and drive outcomes in ambiguous situationsExcellent written, verbal, presentation, facilitation, and negotiation skillsAbility to explain complex technical and business concepts clearly to technical and executive audiencesWillingness to travel as required for customer and partner engagementsBachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with MongoDB, Atlas, relational database modernization, or NoSQL technologiesMongoDB certification or certification with a major cloud providerExperience with AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google CloudExperience in large-scale transformation, legacy modernization, data modernization, AI/ML, or application development programsFamiliarity with enterprise sales methodologies such as MEDDPICC or Command of the MessageExperience working with public-sector or regulated-industry procurement processesExperience developing joint go-to-market propositions and partner delivery modelsExperience leading technical workstreams in multi-year, multi-million-dollar pursuits
