Software Engineer

Amgen's Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) service supports over 13,000 desktop instances globally. We are seeking a Software Engineer to design, develop, and maintain automation solutions and cloud applications that enhance VDI operations and user experience.

You will work closely with service owners, engineers, and business stakeholders to build scalable solutions using C#, .NET, Microsoft Azure, Microsoft Graph API, and related technologies.

Roles And Responsibilities

Develop and maintain applications using C# and .NET 8/10Build and integrate REST APIs and Microsoft Graph API solutionsDevelop serverless applications using Azure FunctionsCreate workflow automations using Azure Logic AppsDesign and manage solutions using Azure Cosmos DB and Blob StorageImplement CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOpsDevelop dashboards and reporting solutions using Power BIManage source code using Git and perform code reviewsTroubleshoot, support, and continuously improve production applicationsCreate technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and operational procedures

Basic Qualifications

One of the following:

Master's / Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related field, with 5-9 years of relevant experience

Preferred Qualifications

Strong proficiency in C# and modern .NET developmentExperience with REST APIs, Microsoft Graph API, and cloud technologiesKnowledge of LINQ, JSON, asynchronous programming, and software design principlesExperience with Git and end-to-end software development lifecycleUnderstanding desktop-system lifecycle, endpoint management, and virtual desktop technologies.Experience supporting production applications and troubleshooting distributed cloud solutions.Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.Ability and willingness to learn new technologies at a rapid pace.

Work Hours

This position operates on the second shift, from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM IST. Candidates must be willing and able to work during these hours, including weekends and holidays when required.
