In other words, if you like people and technology, you'll fit right in.  The Senior Software Engineer – In Test is responsible for developing and establishing quality assurance standards and measures for the information technology services within the organization. This will include writing test plans and scripts for tracking defects and fixes in product development. This individual will apply proven analytical and problem-solving skills to help validate, verify, communicate, and resolve system/software application issues through careful testing in order to ensure high quality in our SaaS applications. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring quality is at the heart of engineering practices, with a bias towards test and tooling automation. Automated testing experience is a requirement for this role. Candidates lacking automated testing experience will not be considered.    Essential Duties & Responsibilities:Develop and execute test scripts and plans for software changes in the company’s software productsPerform integrated software testing, which includes but is not limited to, ensuring the accuracy of new product features or corrections to current software functions per the business requirements prior to release of software and post release testingTrack and report work completed on a daily basisWork closely with software developers to clearly convey issues found and to ensure timely resolutionDocument, track, retest and communicate test resultsEnsure QA tasks assigned are completed as scheduledReview product Release Notes and other documentation for accuracyMentor Jr. QA team membersEnhance existing and recommend new QA methodologies to improve company efficiency and qualityWrites and maintains test automation scripts  Required Skills & Experience: 5-7+ years of commercial development with extensive automation testing experienceTesting tools like Selenium, Playwright, Jest, JMeter, Postman and TestRailExperience in different types of tests such as regression, smoke, systems, integration, performance, load, endurance and user acceptance testingProficiency in authoring, reviewing, and executing manual, ad hoc and exploratory test casesSQL, NoSQL and relational database conceptsExposure to Continuous Integration / Continuous Deployment practices.Experience with unit testing and mock test frameworks (XUnit, NUnit / Moq / NSubstitute)Modern source control systems (Github, BitBucket, Azure DevOps, TFS)Experience in AI assisted coding using tools such as Claude, Devin, CoPilot  Desired Skills & Experience:                          Agile, Scrum, XP, TDD, AI SDLCFamiliarity with ASP.NET, MVC, JavaScript, jQuery, HTML, CSS, LESS, Typescript, bootstrap, SSRS, Rest API, Python, C# and .NET Core and .NET FrameworkBDD Frameworks such as GherkinAppium, Insomnia or comparable test tools and frameworksFunctional Languages such as PowerShellComputer Science, OO concepts and design patternsGood communication skills and attention to detailCloud Platforms (Azure)Familiarity with AI concepts, tools and passion towards latest developments in this field   We are an equal-opportunity employer that values diversity at all levels.
