Responsibilities

We're looking for curious, driven engineers who've worked across the full lifecycle of high-throughput, multi-tenant cloud services. You think carefully about component design, treat error handling as a first-class concern, and take pride in code that's clean, well-factored, thoroughly tested, and easy for the next person to maintain. Responsibilities Build and ship large-scale distributed services and solutions. Champion modern engineering practices and raise the bar through design reviews. Own system design across well-defined interfaces and multiple components, review code, and let telemetry and data guide your decisions. Deliver best-in-class engineering: components that are modular, secure, reliable, diagnosable, actively monitored, and reusable. Grow test coverage, stand up and maintain integration tests, and drive problem areas to resolution. Balance testability, portability, reliability, and maintainability — and know when code is genuinely ready to ship. Partner with product and engineering leaders to deliver cohesive, end-to-end customer experiences grounded in real customer and partner needs. Keep Live Site healthy: troubleshoot issues and continuously improve automation, reliability, and monitoring.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 3+ years of technical engineering experience with coding in languages such as C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python

3+ years of experience designing, developing, or maintaining secure software systems, with applied knowledge of authentication, data protection, access control, and secure coding practices.

2+ years of experience designing, building, and operating scalable, highly available cloud services or distributed systems on platforms such as Azure, AWS, GCP, or comparable cloud environments, with production ownership, CI/CD pipeline integration, and automated testing practices.

Experience building or integrating AI/ML-powered systems or workflows, including safe handling of model outputs, orchestration, or agent-based systems.

This position will be required to pass the Microsoft background and Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
