Microsoft's Cloud business is expanding, and the Cloud Supply Chain (CSCP) organization is responsible for enabling the hardware infrastructure underlying this growth including AI! CSCP's vision is to empower customers to achieve more by delivering Cloud and AI capabilities at scale. Our mission is to deliver the world's computer with an industry-leading supply chain. The CSCP organization is responsible for traditional supply chain functions such as plan, source, make, deliver, but also manages supportability (spares), sustainability, and decommissioning of datacenter assets worldwide. We deliver the core infrastructure and foundational technologies for Microsoft's over 200 online businesses including Bing, MSN, Office 365, Xbox Live, OneDrive and the Microsoft Azure platform for external customers. Responsibilities
Develop / improve capacity plan that meets customer needs, while maintaining compliance to supply and execution policies, throughput capacities and contractual requirementsDemand Planning - Generate Accurate Demand Plan for specific business unitsDrive operational rigour through real time monitoring and management of demand planDrive Inventory and buffer optimization processes to achieve the desired customer service levels at optimal costDrive supply-demand match and mitigation plans for capacity gaps, as well as what-if scenarios to support decision making with a service and P&L mindsetProvide a clear forecast and prioritized signal downstream to the end-to-end execution teamsPartner with product engineering, supply chain, finance, data centre ops, cloud server hardware and networking teams to ensure all functions act in alignment with common goalsManage key KPI and optimize the plan for availability, revenue and costIdentify process, tools and systems improvement opportunities and drive improvement and transformation efforts to optimize planningApply advanced analytics concepts toward rich insights and key financial and strategic decisionsManage plan changes due transition in features and offerings, as well as underlying infrastructure or hardware changes
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in the supply chain, related product/technology, business administration or engineering field (Masters preferred)7+ years experience in the supply chain domain – Demand Planning, Supply Planning and Inventory Management experience is a preferredUnderstanding of Cloud Supply Chain would be a plusStrong Data and Analytical Skills requiredProficiency in Enterprise Planning Systems (such as SAP, Oracle etc) and business intelligence engines (SQL, Power BI, Power Pivot, Tableu) desired for the role
