Who We Are Looking For

We are seeking a seasoned leader with a proven track record in managing Data Conversion (IBOR) within large-scale, client-facing transformation programs. The AVP will play a pivotal role in the Alpha Global Conversion Practice, overseeing strategy, planning, execution, and governance of end-to-end platform IBOR Conversion during Alpha implementations. These programs span complex business models and data flows across front, middle, and back office operations involving State Street, Charles River Development, clients, and industry partners.

The AVP will be instrumental in driving this transformation and ensuring high-quality outcomes.

Specifically, The Candidate Will

Work with Business Leads to training, resolve questions, assess user needs and recommend changesWork on data analysis and data conversion of new Clients to an in-house Middle Office systemWork on the data conversion development lifecycle and methodology. This includes requirements analysis, solution design, client acceptance, timeline creation, implementation, unit testing, deployment tools, and maintenanceWork on Conversion approach & strategic planning for DRH, Prod event, etc. for Sign off purpose from the clientUnderstand the current processes and tools used by State Street, and map new requirements to this toolAbility to create data maps, to map the data flow from legacy systems to the in-house systems using existing functionality and processesWork on inputs and outputs from the conversion process, and communicate issues internally and externally as requiredResolve issues and gaps in terms of data provided or discrepancies in data between legacy presentation and the future state model basis the feedback providedWork on the deliverables of conversion planning and testing in order to meet the milestonesParticipate in the actual conversion tests and dress rehearsalsParticipate and look after the legal and audit requirementsWork with the automation team to ensure that all requirements are smoothly understood and changes once made are compared and testedWork closely with vendors to mentor them, train them and be accountable for all the queries they have for smooth transition. Also manage vendor governance end to end.

The Ideal Candidate Should Have

Overall 18+ Years of Industry ExperienceGood knowledge and experience in Capital markets – Middle, Back Office and front office is key15+ years of relevant Financial Industry Experience required, preferably Investment Management, Asset ManagementGreat Understanding of Securities, Loans, IBOR/ABOR, Transaction ManagementFair understanding & experience on platforms like IBOR/ABOR, Eagle, Eagle Star, PAM, Portia, CRDGood Communication Skills with good external and internal client interfacing skillsManage a team of 30+ to meet onboarding goalsAbility to work in a high paced environment, be flexible, follow tight deadlines, organize and prioritize workAbility to analyze and resolve project-related issues and follow through with set objectivesExperience working on projects related to Middle & Back Office Client On boardingIntermediate to advanced Microsoft Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, SharePoint and Access skills, as well as Microsoft Project or other project management software experienceBachelor’s Degree in Finance & Accounting, Computer Science, Information TechnologyNice to have MBA in Finance, Management, Business Administration from Premier B School
