We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Quality Engineer, Senior to join our growing organization.

A Typical Day In The Life Includes

Quality Strategy & Process

Foster a culture of quality, accountability and continuous improvementDefine and implement QA strategies, standards and best practicesEstablish and maintain test plans, test cases and test cyclesEnsure QA processes align with organizational goals and compliance requirementsContinuously improve testing methodologies (manual, automated, exploratory)

Testing & Execution

Be part of and oversee functional, regression, integration and performance testingAbility to read and understand code and system architectureReview and approve test cases, scripts and test resultsEnsure timely identification, documentation and tracking of defectsValidate defect fixes and confirm release readinessBalance risk, quality and delivery timelines

Collaboration & Communication

Act as the primary QA point of contact for projects or productsCollaborate closely with Product, Engineering, DevOps and Business teamsParticipate in sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews and retrospectivesCommunicate QA status, risks and recommendations clearly to stakeholdersAdvocate for quality throughout the software development lifecycle

Automation & Tools

Drive test automation strategy and adoptionSelect, implement and maintain QA tools and frameworksEnsure proper use of defect tracking and test management systemsAnalyse test results and trends to improve coverage and efficiency

Compliance & Risk Management

Ensure adherence to regulatory, security and industry standards (where applicable)Identify quality risks early and propose mitigation plansSupport audits, documentation and process assessments

Basic Qualifications

6+ years of professional experience in testing and QA1+ years of experience in a senior QA roleExperience with test automation frameworks and tools (e.g., Selenium)Strong knowledge of Coding and SQLUnderstanding of web applications and multi-tiered product architectureFlexible working across different time zonesBasic understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practicesStrong team-building skillsExcellent communication and stakeholder management abilitiesStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities and deadlinesHigh attention to detail with a proactive mindset

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field of studyKnowledge of the Agile methodologyKnowledge of Jira and other Atlassian toolsKnowledge of cloud platforms (AWS)Gen AI tools knowledge and experience in using AI for testing
