Job Summary
JOB DESCRIPTION
As a Principal Technical Account Manager, you will serve as a trusted customer advocate and senior technical advisor. You will translate customer business requirements into integrated solutions, assess cloud environments, identify gaps, and guide customers through cloud adoption and implementation.
You will provide technical leadership across the full solution lifecycle—from discovery and design through build, testing, deployment, and go-live—while coordinating cross-functional teams to remove blockers and drive successful customer outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Partner with customers to understand business goals, requirements, challenges, and desired outcomes, translating them into practical technical and process solutions.Lead fit-gap assessments of customer cloud environments and develop roadmaps for cloud transition, implementation, and optimization.Define and align the functional and technical vision for program solutions with customer and internal stakeholders.Lead and oversee end-to-end delivery across requirements intake, design, build, testing, deployment, and go-live.Design secure, scalable OCI architectures, including networking, security, identity and access management, and infrastructure frameworks.Guide deployment of customer workloads to OCI, support cloud-adoption models, and recommend actions to remove delivery blockers.Align customer solutions with Oracle product roadmaps, release cycles, business enhancements, and production break-fix requirements.Collaborate with portfolio management and cross-functional teams, including business analysts, integration specialists, quality assurance, development, support, services, and third-party partners.Communicate solution options, risks, progress, and recommendations clearly to technical and non-technical customer stakeholders.Contribute to strategic planning, program governance, customer satisfaction, service delivery, and cross-functional team leadership.

Mandatory
11 years of experience in a customer-facing, consultative, or technology-related role; or an equivalent combination of education and experience:Bachelor’s degree in business, computer information systems, computer science, or a related field plus 7 years of relevant experience.Master’s degree in a related field plus 5 years of relevant experience.Doctorate in a related field plus 3 years of relevant experience.8–15 years of IT industry experience, including at least 5 years of demonstrated OCI experience.Hands-on expertise with OCI, including cloud architecture, workload deployment, networking, security, and IAM.Strong Terraform experience for provisioning and managing OCI resources.Proficiency in Bash, Python, Shell, or similar scripting and programming languages.Experience deploying and managing containerised workloads on Kubernetes, ideally Oracle Kubernetes Engine.Experience building observability dashboards and alerts with Prometheus and Grafana.Demonstrated experience leading business analysis, business-process design, and software delivery lifecycle activities.Proven ability to lead cross-functional programs, coordinate stakeholders, manage resources, and deliver solutions on time and within budget.Strong client relationship, service delivery, incident response, account management, contract management, and compliance capabilities.Excellent analytical, written, verbal, presentation, and organizational skills.Ability to travel to customer and internal locations up to 25%.
Good-to-Have
Experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.OCI or other relevant cloud certifications.Experience with modern CI/CD and DevOps tools and practices.At least one full cloud implementation lifecycle.Experience supporting operating budgets or project financials.Deep familiarity with the CSS service portfolio across cloud and on-premises offerings.Additional experience in IT service management and account management.
