Position Overview:We are seeking an experienced Identity Governance and Administration (IGA) Engineer to design, develop, and configure robust identity management solutions on Chubb’s SailPoint IdentityNow (ISC) platform. In this role you will integrate the IGA platform with enterprise systems, build and maintain automated lifecycle processes, configure access certification campaigns, and contribute to the ongoing migration of applications from the legacy OIM platform to new platform. You will work closely with global IAM and project teams to translate business requirements into secure, scalable technical configurations that streamline access control across the organisation. This role follows a hybrid working model based in India.
Key Responsibilities:Perform end-to-end IGA application onboarding and development on SailPoint ISC, including access request catalogue configuration, UI customisations, access policy design, role management, and custom rule development.Configure and maintain SailPoint ISC connectors — including Active Directory / Entra ID, SCIM, JDBC, REST, and web-service connectors — to support seamless user lifecycle management across enterprise applications.Develop and maintain BeanShell rules, Transform rules, and Provisioning Policies within SailPoint ISC to support custom lifecycle, aggregation, and provisioning logic.Design and support Identity Lifecycle Manager (LCM) processes — joiner, mover, leaver — ensuring automation aligns with HR and business-defined triggers.Configure and manage Access Certification (campaign) and Access Review processes to meet audit and compliance requirements.Integrate SailPoint ISC with enterprise platforms including Entra ID (Azure AD), PAM products, ServiceNow (ITSM), and other enterprise systems using REST APIs and SailPoint PAT-based authentication.Partner with project teams to understand business requirements, translate them into technical designs, and validate solutions end-to-end.Support the ongoing migration of applications from Oracle Identity Manager (OIM) to SailPoint ISC, reviewing legacy OIM connector configurations and re-engineering them for ISC.Build and maintain automated monitoring capabilities to support system health and security compliance.Troubleshoot platform issues, resolve defects, and ensure stable performance of the IGA platform.Collaborate with cross-functional global teams — IAM Engineering, onboarding teams, Application teams, Audit, and ServiceNow — to deliver secure, efficient, and scalable identity solutions.Support ongoing platform enhancements, continuous improvement initiatives, and technical debt remediation.
Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience in Identity Governance and Administration engineering.12-15 years of hands-on IGA engineering experience, with demonstrated ability to deliver independently on assigned workstreams while collaborating effectively with global team members and stakeholders.Hands-on experience with SailPoint IdentityNow / ISC (required) — including Access Request, Lifecycle Manager, Certifications, Roles, Connectors, and the SailPoint ISC REST API. SailPoint IdentityNow Certified Engineer credential is strongly preferred.Experience with Oracle Identity Manager (OIM) is an advantage — knowledge of OIM connector types, adapter configuration, and reconciliation is valued in the context of OIM-to-ISC migration projects.Scripting proficiency in BeanShell and/or Java for IGA rule development within SailPoint ISC; REST API and JSON fluency for platform integrations and connector development.Experience working with Entra ID (Azure AD) and on-premises Active Directory, including connector configuration, group and role management, and lifecycle event handling.Experience with REST APIs and web services to enable system connectivity, automate identity-related processes, and support secure data exchange across enterprise applications.Experience integrating IGA platforms with ServiceNow for access request fulfilment and ticketing workflows is strongly preferred.Direct experience with SailPoint ISC connector types, including:Active Directory / Entra ID ConnectorSCIM 2.0 ConnectorJDBC / Database ConnectorWeb Service / REST ConnectorVirtual Appliance (VA) managementStrong analytical and troubleshooting skills; ability to collaborate effectively across technical and business teams in a global, matrixed environment.Experience working in agile/scrum delivery models within a global IAM team, including sprint planning, story estimation, and iterative release cycles.
