OVERALL PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:

Manage Development Center Engineering activities and resources

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Ensure that all Engineering DQC commitments are reached

Manage, plan, supervise and report on workload, rates, overhead, etc. for Technology Center métiers

Support Technology Center Director in daily operation

Contribute to TIS technological roadmap definition, with support of Technology Center Métier Leaders

Contribute to the definition and implementation of Core/Non-Core strategy

Ensure, with the support of Technology Center Métier Leaders, that best practices are identified and shared within S&P

Ensure that TIS , Processes, methods & tools and instructions are applicable to Métiers

Make sure new processes are successfully introduced in Métiers with KPI

Manage and develop engineering resources in conformance with S&P footprint strategy

Manage competencies and expertise development plans with the support or HR

Contribute to Development Center Capex definition and implementation

Qualifications & Skills:

EDUCATION

Engineering degree in Electronics & Communication / Electrical

TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES & EXPERIENCE

Core Technical ExpertiseExpertise in electronics hardware engineering, such as embedded systems, power electronics, control electronics, industrial or equivalent domains

Experience / Understanding across the full product development lifecycle, including architecture definition, design, validation, and industrialization

Exposure to industrial and/or complex engineering systems (preferred, though not mandatory).

Has partnered closely with customers across the product lifecycle to ensure alignment, and deliver solutions .

Exposure of full life cycle of the project.

Digital & Engineering Transformation Experience (Critical)

In addition to core hardware expertise, the role requires exposure to digital enablement and transformation, including but not limited to:Driving digital adoption within hardware engineering, such as digital twins, advanced simulation, model‑based design, ALM/PLM platforms, engineering automation, DevX, or equivalent tools

Ability to leadtool-driven development environments, leveraging EDA, simulation, and lifecycle management tools to accelerate electronic hardware design and validation in industrial applications

Ability to lead safety-driven development processes (such as EN50128, EN50129, IEC 61508) ensuring compliance, risk assessment, and certification readiness across the full product lifecycle

Leadership or strong contribution to hardware–software convergence initiatives

Experience leveraging digital platforms, analytics, data‑driven engineering practices, or connected products

Operating effectively in organizations undergoing engineering modernization or digital transformation
