Job Description:

We’re looking for a talented Engineering Manager to lead a team responsible for developing, supporting, and maintaining our class-leading Disclosure Management Product. The chosen candidate must be a self-starter, possess great organizational skills, and have excellent communication abilities. A proven results-oriented person with a delivery focus and demonstrated ability to achieve stretch goals in a highly innovative and fast-paced environment.We enjoy our work as much as we enjoy working together and want Manager who can get things done while having a positive influence on our workplace environment. The successful candidate must have a passion for building high performance team, leading them and at the same time cares about code quality, and be committed to continuous improvement.

ResponsibilitiesYou will Own end-to-end delivery of software: from technical design through sprint execution to production – with full accountability for quality and timelines.You will guide team in designs/architecture, develop good quality of code, review PRs and be a technical expert and mentorInfluence the product roadmap to ensure it incorporates necessary technical investments and considers longer-term architectural goalsEstablish and continually improve development and team processes that yield maximum efficiency in day-to-day engineering operationsProvide just in time feedback, conduct 1:1s, annual reviews, and find continuous improvement opportunitiesWork closely with the Product teams to develop the best technical design and approach for product developmentBe a leader amongst the team in solving complex software development items that meet customer expectations.Responsible for the over-all systems development life cycle within an Agile-SCRUM development processManagement and execution against project plans and delivery commitmentsPartner with cross-functional teams — Product, QA, DevOps, and Customer Success — to deliver releases that enterprise clients can depend on

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent demonstrated engineering depth12+ years of hands-on experience designing and developing enterprise SaaS applications on the .NET framework, .NET Core, C# stack2+ years of engineering team management experience with a proven record of growing engineers and retaining high performersExperience in solving complex problemsExperience in designing and developing SaaS applications using distributed systems and modern web frameworks (React, Angular)Proven experience using ORMs, Entity Framework, or NHibernateProven experience using relational DBMS, MS SQL Server preferredPrevious experience with microservices, REST APIs, or WCFSolid understanding of web applications including security, session management, and best practicesStrong communication skills in English – both written and verbal
