Job Description

The Delivery Management Professional leads moderately complex deliveries, proactively identifies improvements, manages diverse stakeholders, and contributes to strategic implementation. In this role, you will independently define and control the scope of medium to large initiatives, utilizing effective facilitation and analytical skills to drive value delivery. While navigating intricate stakeholder environments, you will connect team development with broader business objectives. Depending on the organization's needs, you may operate within role archetypes such as Project Manager, Service (Delivery) Manager, ITSM Process SME, Scrum Master, RTE, or Agile Coach.

Description Of The Area

This team is responsible for delivering software systems for the data acquisition and processing of Roche clinical trial data, serving as the source of truth across Roche Pharma. Foundational systems in this area include Roche’s electronic data capture (EDC) - Medidata Rave, non-CRF systems including biomarker and sample metadata ingestion, and clinical data warehouses.

These systems are critical to drug development, powering clinical data review, safety reporting, operational insights for clinical teams, and support early development activities in the REDs. They provide data to the Analytical Data Science’s ecosystems to standardize and analyze data for regulatory submissions. In addition, standardized clinical data from these systems are essential to integrate with Roche’s specialized data modality platforms including omics, clinical imaging, and digital health technologies.

A key focus in this area will be to leverage emerging AI technologies to optimize clinical data acquisition data pipelines. This includes enriching metadata and building AI-ready datasets to enable autonomous agentic and human-in-the loop AI systems which are transforming the drug development process.

Qualifications

Education / Experience

Bachelor's / Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Life Sciences, or related technical field. Having professional certifications is an advantageMinimum 5-8 Years experience in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or regulated healthcare technology industryProven track record operating in a Delivery Management archetype (e.g., Project Manager, Service Manager, Scrum Master, RTE, Agile Coach) managing medium to large initiatives or significant workstreamsExperience managing the delivery of complex features or projects (such as service transitions or ART increments) across functional areasDemonstrated experience translating requirements into strategic implementation plans and contributing to business planning and forecasting

Technical Skills

Strong ability to select, adapt, and apply appropriate delivery methodologies to optimize resultsProficiency in utilizing advanced delivery tools and techniques to manage complex processes and dependenciesStrong analytical skills to drive root cause analysis and propose comprehensive improvement plansIn depth knowledge of GxP regulated environments and computer systems validation
