Roles and Responsibilities :
Provide expert guidance on infection control practices to healthcare staff, ensuring compliance with hospital policies and industry standards.
Develop and implement effective training programs for nursing staff on infection prevention techniques, including hand hygiene, personal protective equipment (PPE), and environmental cleaning.
Conduct regular audits and surveillance activities to identify areas of improvement in infection control processes and provide recommendations for enhancements.
Collaborate with other departments to develop protocols for managing high-risk patients or outbreaks of infectious diseases.
Job Requirements :
6-20 years of experience as an Infection Control Nurse (ICN) or equivalent role.
Strong knowledge of ICN principles, guidelines, and regulations such as those set by The Joint Commission.
Experience in developing educational materials, conducting workshops, and providing training sessions on infection control topics.
Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN).
