Job Description SummaryThe Associate Designer has a good knowledge of airside infrastructure and systems. TheAssociate Designer can provide assistance in multidisciplinary airside design projectshelping to meet quality standards, deadlines and budget constraints. The AssociateDesigner writes technical reports, completes engineering calculations and reviews orproduces technical drawings for airside consultancy and design project.

Key Responsibilities• Effectively communicating with internal and external stakeholders.• Accurately estimating the time required to complete assigned tasks and effectivelymanaging one's own workload.• Assist in the management of multidisciplinary airside design projects.• Write detailed technical airside design analysis reports.• Prepare airside infrastructure bills of quantities for bidding stage (pricing) and forexecution stage (production).• Complete airside engineering calculations, for example, electrical power calculations,airfield lighting calculations (PAPI, aiming point, approach lighting), heat dissipation,structural calculations, etc.• Produce, oversee or review airfield layout drawings for airfield lighting, signs, marking,ducts, pits and cabling.• Produce, oversee or review AVDGS top view, side view and front view drawings.• Produce, oversee or review airside layout drawings for integration into ADB SafegateAirside systems (Apron Management, ALCMS or ICWP).• Produce, oversee or review basic installation detail drawings of ADB Safegate productsadapted to the specific project requirements.• Adhere to the Autodesk Vault procedures ensuring all files created, received orsubmitted are correctly stored and set-up.

Required Know-how or Qualifications• Generally, with Engineering degree or similar qualifications.• Intermediate understanding of project processes.• Intermediate understanding of ADB Safegate’s full portfolio (products, systems andservices).• Autodesk AutoCAD advanced level.• Autodesk Vault intermediate level.• MS Office and MS Teams advanced level.• Basic understanding of airside operations.• Good knowledge in airside infrastructure including marking, airfield lighting, airfieldsignage, heliport lighting and VDGS.• Intermediate knowledge of international and local aviation regulations, including ICAOstandards and recommended practices and guidance manuals.• Good communication, and interpersonal skills, with an ability to work effectively in amultidisciplinary and multicultural team environment.
