About the Role :

The Senior Specialist Information Security - Encryption Agility Team Architect will serve as the Principal Architect for Amgen's enterprise Encryption Agility Service for Post-Quantum Cryptography (PQC) Readiness Preparation. This role is the senior technical authority for enterprise encryption, cryptography, crypto agility, and post-quantum cryptography architecture across Amgen.

Responsibilities :

- Serve as the Principal Architect and senior technical authority for the Encryption Agility Service.

- Develop Amgens enterprise target-state architecture for encryption, cryptography, crypto agility, and PQC readiness.

- Translate NIST PQC standards into Amgen reference architectures and secure patterns.

- Define cryptographic discovery architecture and tool integration requirements.

- Partner with Digital Identity Access Services (DIAS) and PKI service owners on certificate visibility and lifecycle management.

- Design remediation and crypto-agility patterns for hybrid TLS, IPsec, and MACsec.

- Provide hands-on technical review of cryptographic scan outputs, source code, and cloud key configurations.

Basic Qualifications :

- Doctorate degree and 2 years of experience OR

- Master's degree with 8 to 10 years of experience OR

- Bachelor's degree with 10 to 14 years of experience OR

- Diploma with 14 to 18 years of experience.

Must-Have Skills :

- Expert hands-on knowledge of enterprise cryptography, PKI, X.509 certificates, TLS, KMS, and HSMs.

- Practical experience architecting cryptographic modernization and post-quantum cryptography.

- Ability to translate cryptographic policy into enforceable technical controls.

- Hands-on analysis of cryptographic discovery findings and source code patterns.
