JOB DESCRIPTION

Your role will include overseeing, supervising and reviewing tasks performed by team members to ensure effective execution of work; managing end-to-end development processes and projects for both internal and external clients with responsibility for timely and accurate delivery; issuing clear instructions and directions to team members on tasks to be performed; and mentoring and guiding junior colleagues to support their skill development, professional growth, and overall success.

Around 6+ years of software development experience required as below:

Essential Competencies: Own and drive the design, development and delivery of features across the full stack — React 18 / AngularJS web client, Node.js/TypeScript Express services, and REST & GraphQL APIs Strong experience architecting scalable, maintainable systems and services with TypeScript/Node.js and React, applying sound design patterns (dependency injection, event-driven Pub/Sub, job queues) Must have strong expertise in developing web-based applications, RESTful/GraphQL APIs, and integrating third-party services (Twilio, Stripe, Firebase, Pusher, Cronofy, MLS/RETS feeds) Deep experience with data modeling and performance tuning across MongoDB, Postgres/Prisma, Redis, and Elasticsearch, including connection pooling and query optimization at scale Define engineering standards, quality gates and release-readiness criteria; own CI/CD integration(GitHub Actions, Cloud Build, Helm) and enforce quality via ESLint/TypeScript checks and SonarQube Lead performance, scalability and resilience improvements and analyze production behavior with observability tooling (New Relic, Rollbar) to prevent and diagnose regressions Work closely with agile development teams on assigned projects and help deliver quality software Review designs, code and technical approaches produced by team members; issue clear direction and unblock the team Contributes ideas on product and process improvements and champions engineering best practices Experience working in an agile environment and methods, coordinating deliverables across sprints Flexible working across frontend, backend and platform tasks based on business needs

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS

Desirable Competencies: Deep experience with system/architecture design and a solid understanding of secure coding and security testing concepts, including SAST (Black Duck, Polaris) and OWASP Top 10 remediation Strong familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and pipeline authoring (GitHub Actions, Cloud Build, Helm), containerized environments (Docker), and cloud infrastructure (GCP/GKE) Interact with different functions like Firmware/Hardware/Software teams to resolve system-level issues Interact with local and global teams in resolving the issues Passionate to work on POCs for technology research efforts that result in prototypes for concept evaluation, and to mentor engineers in adopting them Working knowledge of Agile tools (e.g., Jira), plus experience defining technical metrics and reporting engineering status to stakeholders
