Key missions of the position: Ensure effective supervision of production operations to meet daily output and delivery targetsDrive adherence to safety, quality, and process standards across the shop floorManage manpower allocation and ensure optimal utilization of resourcesMonitor production performance and take corrective actions for deviationsSupport continuous improvement activities and maintain operational disciplineEnsure proper communication and coordination between teams and management

Production Supervision & Execution
Supervise day-to-day production activities and ensure smooth workflow across assigned lines or areasEnsure production targets are achieved as per plan and scheduleMonitor execution of work as per assembly instructions, routing cards, and standard operating proceduresEnsure adherence to defined cycle time and productivity standards
Manpower Management
Allocate manpower based on production requirements and skill matrixMonitor operator performance and ensure effective utilization of resourcesGuide and support operators in resolving day-to-day production issuesEnsure discipline, attendance, and team coordination on the shop floor
Process & Compliance
Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and operational standards across all activitiesVerify availability and proper usage of tools, equipment, jigs, and fixturesEnsure all start-up checks and safety procedures are followed before production beginsEnsure compliance with ERP/system-based production tracking and reporting
Issue Management
Identify production issues, deviations, and bottlenecks during operationsEscalate issues promptly and ensure timely resolution and closureCoordinate with quality, maintenance, and support teams to resolve process disruptionsTrack recurring issues and support preventive actions
Performance Monitoring & Control
Monitor daily production performance and take corrective actions to bridge gapsEnsure adherence to KPIs such as productivity, efficiency, and output targetsMaintain production records and ensure proper documentationConduct regular follow-ups to ensure action closure
Continuous Improvement
Drive Kaizen and continuous improvement initiatives at the shop-floor levelEncourage team participation in process improvements and productivity enhancementSupport implementation of lean practices such as 5S and standard workIdentify opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and optimize processes
Cross-Functional Coordination
Coordinate with quality, fulfilment, warehouse, and PPC teams for smooth operationsEnsure material availability and readiness for production activitiesCommunicate production status, issues, and updates to higher managementSupport implementation of organizational and operational initiatives
People Management & Development
Supervise and guide operators and technicians on the shop floorTrain and support new employees on processes, safety, and quality requirementsEnsure skill development as per skill matrix and training plansPromote team discipline, accountability, and teamwork
