Boston Scientific is seeking a Senior Legal Analyst, Digital, AI & Contracts to support the company's AI enablement and digital transformation initiatives. This role serves as a key operational and analytical partner to Digital & AI Legal, Privacy, Enterprise AI, IT, Cybersecurity, Quality, and business stakeholders to help establish scalable governance processes, improve operational efficiency, and enable responsible adoption of AI and other emerging technologies.

The successful candidate will be a highly organized and technology-curious professional with experience in digital technology, AI, privacy, contracts, compliance, legal operations, or related business processes. The individual will use strong analytical, coordination, and process-improvement skills to support governance activities, improve legal workflows, and help the organization adopt AI and other emerging technologies responsibly. Prior AI-governance or automation experience is helpful but not required; the successful candidate should be interested in developing these capabilities.

This role plays an important part in enabling responsible innovation, enabling responsible AI adoption, modernizing legal workflows through technology and automation.

Key Responsibilities:

AI and Digital Governance

Review AI intake submissions and risk assessment records for completeness and coordinate follow-up activities with stakeholders as needed.

Assist with coordination of AI governance workflows across Legal, Enterprise AI, IT, Cybersecurity, and business teams.

Help coordinate information and processes across responsible AI governance, privacy, contracts lifecycle management and other business systems.

Assess and manage standardization of legal notices across digital applications, websites, and products.

Support the use and ongoing improvement of tools and processes used for AI governance.

Digital Transformation and Process Improvement

Identify opportunities to improve digital, privacy, and cybersecurity contracting workflows through automation, standardization, and technology-enabled solutions, including AI-enabled tools.

Use available information to recommend opportunities to improve efficiency, visibility, compliance, and user experience.

Contract Administration and Business Support

Support administration and tracking of digital technology, AI, privacy and data-related agreements.

Perform initial reviews of designated agreement types using approved templates, playbooks, and established escalation paths.

Maintain contract metadata and support reporting on contract status, obligations, and operational metrics.

Provide training and support to internal stakeholders involved in contract and governance processes.

Maintain contract playbooks, clause libraries, templates, guidance materials, and knowledge resources supporting digital, AI, privacy, cybersecurity, and data-use agreements.

Assist with development of contract analytics, dashboards, and reporting capabilities to improve operational visibility and decision-making.

Help identify opportunities to simplify and improve processes while increasing transparency and consistency.

Minimum Qualifications:

Experience supporting AI governance, digital products, privacy, cybersecurity, compliance, or risk management programs.

Comfort with learning and using enterprise applications including enterprise generative AI systems to support business users and use cases.

Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Strong attention to detail and ability to manage structured information across multiple systems and stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience supporting business operations, governance programs, technology platforms, digital transformation initiatives, compliance functions, or process improvement efforts.

Experience using or configuring legal, privacy, compliance or workflow tools such as Power Platform, Trustible, OneTrust, ServiceNow (or the like) to support business processes.

Experience supporting contract lifecycle management systems and contract administration processes.

Interest in using automation and AI-enabled tools to improve legal and governance work; prior experience is helpful but not required.

Experience supporting development of dashboards, KPIs, reporting solutions, and operational metrics.

Experience maintaining templates, playbooks, clause libraries, knowledge repositories, or process documentation.

Experience with driving process improvements that increase efficiency, consistency, transparency, and scalability.

Experience working in healthcare, medical device, life sciences, technology, or another regulated industry.
