The role

A technical program manager at an automotive mobility company drives roadmap ownership, Agile, and agentic AI across technology delivery, automating program workflows and aligning capacity, prioritization, and releases. The role also applies Jira and low-code automation to improve delivery metrics and unblock engineering teams.

Full job description

Responsibilities:

Own the roadmap and delivery engine for the Technology org - from how priorities are concluded, to how capacity is planned and the cutline drawn, to whether committed deliverables land on time.

This is an ownership role, not a status-tracking one.

We also see the role changing shape.

The manual half of program management - status collection, report writing, tracker hygiene, follow-ups - is moving to AI agents. We want a TPM who drives that shift, so the team's time goes to prioritisation and unblocking instead of assembling updates.

Core Expectations:

AI & Agentic AI in program management.

Roadmap end-to-end.

Planning & delivery end-to-end.

Requirements:

3-8 years in Program Management / Delivery Management / TPM roles in product or tech-driven teams.

Hands-on roadmap ownership (must-have): you have personally run prioritisation, capacity planning, cutline calls and roadmap conclusion - not just executed a roadmap handed to you.

Proven end-to-end planning: owned deliverables from scoping to release and been accountable for the dates.

Real, hands-on use of AI: concrete examples of program workflows you have automated.

Exposure to agentic AI - agents, tool/API integrations, prompt and context design - is a strong plus.

Strong grasp of Agile/Scrum and the product development lifecycle; hands-on with Jira, dashboards and delivery metrics.

Strong analytical, stakeholder management and communication skills; comfortable driving clarity in ambiguity.

Good to Have:

Quarterly/annual planning for a multi-pod engineering org, or a PMO built from scratch.

Low-code automation (Apps Script, Jira automation, n8n); high-growth startup background.
