Key Responsibilities

Research, diagnose, troubleshoot, and identify solutions to resolve system and application issues. Perform application log monitoring, backup, maintenance, and analysis. Configure, manage, and troubleshoot load balancers; experience with Nginx is a plus. Troubleshoot networking issues related to routing, connectivity, VPNs, and other network components. Administer and support Linux-based environments. Develop and maintain shell scripts for automation and operational tasks. Escalate unresolved issues to the appropriate internal teams, including software development and infrastructure teams. Perform root cause analysis (RCA) to identify the source of incidents and implement preventive measures. Document technical knowledge, troubleshooting procedures, and resolutions in knowledge repositories. Monitor system performance and ensure high availability of applications and services. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure timely issue resolution and continuous service improvement.

Requirements And Skills

5-8 years of experience as a Technical Support Engineer or in a similar role. Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in Linux administration. Proficiency in Shell Scripting. Experience working with MySQL, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB. Good understanding of networking concepts and troubleshooting methodologies. Experience with load balancer configuration and troubleshooting; Nginx experience is preferred. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Master's degree is an added advantage.
