About the Role
We are looking for a Tech Lead who is a strong hands-on engineer, an effective technical leader, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced startup environment.
Requirements
What You'll Do
Make sound decisions around architecture, system design, scalability, reliability, security, and maintainability.
Remain deeply hands-on with the codebase and contribute to critical product initiatives.
Take ownership of technically challenging and business-critical projects.
Lead and mentor a team of engineers and help them grow technically.
Take end-to-end ownership of projects from requirement understanding through design, development, deployment, and monitoring.
Build systems and processes from the ground up rather than relying on established enterprise processes.
Be comfortable wearing multiple hats and solving problems beyond a defined job description.
Must Have
6–8 years of software engineering experience, with significant hands-on development experience.
4+ years of experience in a technical leadership capacity.
Strong understanding of DSA, OOP, databases, APIs, distributed systems, system design, and software engineering fundamentals.
Strong hands-on experience building and shipping production-grade applications.
Proven experience owning architecture and technical decisions for products or large engineering initiatives.
Strong experience with backend and frontend development, with the ability to understand and contribute across the stack.
Strong understanding of engineering quality, testing, security, scalability, and performance.
Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.
Strong startup experience or demonstrated ability to operate in a startup-like environment.
