Senior Manager - Performance MarketingLocation: Gurugram
About the roleWe’re looking for a hands-on performance marketing leader to own paid growth for a high-potential consumer business. You’ll be responsible for turning digital media into a meaningful growth engine -driving acquisition, activation and engagement at scale while improving CAC and business outcomes. This is a role for someone who can think strategy, operate platforms hands-on, and own the number -with the opportunity to build and scale the performance function as the business grows.
What you’ll ownThe paid-media growth number. Own paid’s contribution to the category’s core conversions acquisitions ,scale while holding CAC. Growth strategy across web & app. Build and own the acquisition, retention, engagement, and retargeting strategy across Google, Meta, and any upcoming channels — for both web and app.End-to-end paid media across platforms. Google (Search, PMax, Demand Gen, Display), Meta (Advantage+, catalog/carousel), 3P / app / programmatic and social — full ownership of strategy, structure, bidding, and budget pacing.A dual-engine acquisition model. Run both engines on paid - in-market new-user acquisition and pre-identified base activation.Optimise for quality: Use first-party audiences, downstream conversion/value signals and platform AI to optimise campaigns towards high-value customers and core business outcomes.Full-funnel paid campaigns. Build and execute integrated funnel strategies that move users from consideration to conversion, with mid-funnel engagement ultimately driving higher core activations.; track engaged cohorts across 30/60/90-day windows to prove nurture-to-conversion, not last-click.Make creative a growth lever: Build a strong testing engine across hooks, formats, propositions and audiences; identify winners and scale them.Attribution & measurement. Ensure attribution setup and tracking across every campaign; own CAC, LTV:CAC, ROAS, cohort quality, and incrementality (holdouts / geo-tests) -present paid growth with quality proof, not attributed numbers.Experiment relentlessly: Identify new platforms, formats, audiences and growth opportunities and turn successful experiments into scalable playbooks.Agency & platform partnership. Lead the external paid-media agency pod, vendors, and publishers, and the Google / Meta partnerships; set the operating model and hold it to outcome-based standards. Own budget planning, reporting, and strategy changes basis performance.Consumer-led experimentation: Partner with category teams to turn consumer insights into scalable growth experiments -looking beyond performance data to understand why consumers behave the way they do.
Who you are5-8 years in performance marketing, with a strong core in paid media (Google & Meta) and full-funnel campaign management. high-consideration-category experience strongly preferred.Hands-on campaign experience across Google Search, Display, Meta/Facebook, third-party app networks, app campaigns, and social channels.Proven ownership of a growth number - acquisitions at a target CAC/ROAS -not just campaign delivery. Performance-media depth: value-based bidding, first-party audience strategy, server-side tracking (CAPI / enhanced conversions), and optimising to downstream value events - not lead volume.Measurement rigour: fluency in CAC, LTV:CAC, ROAS, cohort analysis, attribution, and incrementality testing. You can defend a number to a CFO.Martech & analytics literacy: strong grasp of web analytics (e.g. Google Analytics), app analytics / MMPs (e.g. AppsFlyer / Branch / Adjust), and the various attribution models Creative-for-performance instinct: you treat creative as a performance variableAgency & stakeholder leadership: you can run a paid-media agency pod, align cross-functional partners (product, brand, category, and engineering)Consumer instinct. You understand the Indian consumer - trust barriers in high-consideration categories, the role of India affluence signals, and new-age surfaces (quick-commerce, WhatsApp, CTV) as acquisition channels.
