What You Will Do1. Create Content That PerformsDevelop high-volume, high-quality content concepts for Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, and emerging platforms.Create Reels, short-form videos, carousels, static posts, stories, creator briefs, and other platform-native formats.Build content around strong hooks, storytelling, product benefits, consumer problems, cultural moments, and trends.Develop content specifically designed to drive measurable outcomes such as views, watch time, engagement, shares, saves, clicks, leads, and conversions.Translate consumer and product insights into simple, compelling and highly shareable content.Write scripts, hooks, captions, CTAs and creative briefs that are optimised for performance.Partner with designers, editors, creators, influencers and agencies to bring concepts to life.2. Think Like a Performance MarketerTreat every piece of content as a testable creative asset, not just a communication piece.Understand what drives performance across different stages of the consumer funnel — attention, consideration, action and conversion.Analyse content performance and identify patterns in hooks, formats, topics, creators, storytelling styles, CTAs and visual treatments.Use performance data to continuously improve content output.Develop hypotheses around why content worked or did not work and turn those learnings into the next set of creative experiments.Track metrics including reach, impressions, views, watch time, retention, engagement rate, shares, saves, CTR, traffic, conversions and revenue contribution, wherever applicable.Work closely with Growth, Performance Marketing, E-commerce and CRM teams to understand how organic and paid content contributes to business outcomes.3. Be Obsessed With Trends & CultureStay ahead of emerging social formats, memes, sounds, creators, conversations and cultural moments.Identify trends that are relevant to the brand and translate them into brand-right, performance-oriented content.Monitor competitor and category content to identify whitespace and new opportunities.Understand why certain content formats are gaining traction rather than simply replicating what is trending.Move quickly from trend identification to concept, production and publishing.5. Drive Creator & Influencer-Led ContentDevelop briefs for influencers and creators that give them the freedom to create native, authentic and performance-oriented content.Identify creator formats and storytelling styles that can drive stronger content performance.Collaborate with Influencer, Creative and Brand teams to develop creator-led content at scale.Evaluate creator content based on performance and feed learnings back into future briefs.6. Own the Content Calendar & ExecutionOwn the social media content calendar across relevant platforms.Ensure a consistent pipeline of content across always-on, topical, product, campaign, creator and performance-led content.Manage content from idea → brief → production → publishing → performance analysis → optimisation.Ensure timely execution while maintaining brand guidelines, tone of voice and visual identity.Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external agencies to deliver content at speed.
What We Are Looking ForBachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.2–3 years of experience in social media, content creation, digital marketing, brand marketing, performance marketing or a related field.Hands-on experience creating content for consumer-facing brands, preferably in FMCG, beauty & personal care, D2C, e-commerce, startups or other fast-paced businesses.Strong understanding of Instagram and YouTube, with knowledge of Facebook, LinkedIn and emerging platforms.Strong understanding of short-form video and social-first content.Excellent storytelling, copywriting, scripting and creative ideation skills.Strong understanding of content hooks, retention, engagement and conversion mechanics.Ability to look at content data and turn performance insights into actionable creative recommendations.Familiarity with social media analytics and metrics such as reach, views, watch time, retention, engagement, shares, saves, CTR and conversions.Proficiency in tools such as Canva, CapCut, Adobe Creative Suite or similar content creation tools.Strong visual sense and understanding of brand aesthetics and tone of voice.Ability to work with creators, influencers, designers, editors, agencies and cross-functional teams.Highly proactive, experimental and comfortable working in a fast-moving environment.Strong bias towards execution, experimentation and learning.
