Take ownership of writing deliverables, ensuring accuracy and adherence to best practices as outlined by the Technical Writing teamFollow and apply the style guide to all documentationComplete assigned work in a timely manner and provide regular updates on progressSeek and apply feedback to improve documentation qualityPrioritize tasks effectively and participate in team meetingsDemonstrate a positive attitude when working through challengesForge positive relationships within the team and across departmentsIn collaboration with the Taxonomy group, manage and improve Confluence organization and architecture, including tagging/labeling and architectureMaintain pages in Technology and other designated spacesEnsure Confluence spaces are regularly archived with tools or manual processesWork closely with Taxonomy and Enterprise Services to optimize search and platform usageStrong command of written English, with the ability to write elegant, readable prose free of grammatical and spelling errorsAbility to distill complex technical information into clear, accessible instructionsProficiency in proofreading and editingCandidates must demonstrate current understanding of AI advancements through measurable AI education and upskilling (such as certifications, coursework, or active participation in AI communities)Awareness of ethical and legal considerations in AI, including bias, fairness, transparency, and compliance with data privacy regulationsBackground in Information Architecture or library scienceSome familiarity with proofer’s marks and style guidesPython or other coding experience with VS CodeFamiliarity with Markdown documentation and static site generators, HTML or XMLPrevious experience with AI-assisted search/authoring, tagging strategies, and SEO
