Full job description

Title: Product Manager / Senior Product ManagerLocation: Gurugram, India (on-site) · Experience: 2–8 yearsAbout INDmoneyINDmoney is a personal finance super app that helps millions of Indians track, invest and grow their money in one place. Users invest in US stocks, Indian stocks, mutual funds, IPOs and fixed deposits, and manage credit cards, loans and net worth from a single app.About the roleEvery day, thousands of users tell us what’s broken — through support tickets, app reviews, call transcripts, chatbot logs and drop-off data. Most companies route these to a backlog. We want one person who owns them end to end. You’ll pick up a consumer problem, find out why it’s happening, and ship the fix — whatever shape the fix takes. Some days that’s a one-line change to an order status screen. Some days it’s a new state in a backend workflow, a rewrite of a help-centre article, a new macro or lookup tool for our support reps, or a process change with Ops and Compliance. You decide what the right fix is, get it built (or build it), and verify the problem actually went away. You’ll work across Product, Engineering, Customer Support, Operations and Compliance, and report directly to product leadership. Your scorecard is simple: fewer tickets, faster resolutions, fewer users stuck. What you’ll doMine CRM tickets, call recordings, chatbot transcripts, Play Store/App Store reviews and product analytics funnels to find the problems worth solving, and size them.Run root-cause analysis: trace a user complaint back through app state, API responses, backend workflows and ops processes to the actual failure point.Spec and ship fixes across the full stack of the problem: frontend copy and UI states, backend status handling, retry/edge-case logic, ops workflows, help-centre content and internal tools for CS reps.Write clear, plain-language user-facing copy for error states, status screens and help articles.Build or improve tools for the support team: dashboards, lookup views, canned responses, escalation flows.Close the loop: instrument fixes, watch ticket volumes and funnels, and confirm the problem is gone before moving on.Flag patterns upstream — if the same class of issue keeps recurring, drive the structural fix with the relevant product or engineering owner. What we’re looking for2–8 years in product, operations, support engineering, solutions engineering or a similar role where you owned problems end to end.Comfortable with SQL; you can pull your own data from a warehouse without waiting on anyone.Strong systems thinking: you can read an API response, follow a state machine, and reason about why a payment, order or KYC step got stuck.Able to write a crisp spec and a crisp help article — and know which one the problem needs.Evidence of shipping: you can point to things you fixed and the metric that moved.High ownership and low ego. You’d rather solve the problem than argue about whose problem it is.Nice to haveExperience at a broker, fintech or consumer app in India — familiarity with SEBI/RBI flows (KYC, DDPI, settlements, pay-in/pay-out, corporate actions) is a plus. Can read code or write basic scripts (Python/JS) to prototype a tool or debug a flow.Hands-on with CRM/ticketing, issue-tracking and product analytics tools.Experience building internal tools or agent-facing workflows.Exposure to LLM/chatbot tooling for support automation. Why joinReal impact, fast. Your fixes will reach millions of investors and show up in ticket volumes within weeks.Ownership. You own the problem from complaint to resolution, with direct access to the founders and senior leadership.Growth. Competitive compensation with ESOPs, a learning budget and a team that ships every week.Breadth. You’ll touch product, engineering, ops, compliance and support in a single role — a rare vantage point on how a fintech actually runs.Visibility. The problems you solve are the ones leadership hears about most. Good work here is seen.
