Responsibilities
Own end-to-end product scope for BOD/EOD process automation across Equity, Derivatives, Commodity, and Currency, including holding uploads, limit setting, position carryforward, reconciliation, readiness checks, SLA monitoring, dashboards, and elimination of operational single points of failure.Own the product roadmap for RMS automation, covering client/scrip-level limits, intraday and base limit monitoring, MTM violation alerts, escalation workflows, auto square-off triggers, timer-based square-offs, and RMS blocks for debit, far-month contracts, and illiquid scrips.Build and enhance real-time RMS monitoring and alerting dashboards for Risk Officers, Dealers, and HODs, while automating rule-based interventions and reducing turnaround time for critical RMS actions such as limit activation/deactivation and terminal management.Define and own product capabilities for client-wise and scrip-wise position surveillance, concentration risk monitoring, simulated trade detection, ASM tracking, GSM/illiquid scrip blocking, and tender-period and staggered-delivery workflows.Own automation of daily margin reporting across Equity, F&O, Commodity, and Currency, including supervisor reporting for client funds, collateral, and security balances, peak margin compliance, upfront margin collection, breach alerts, fund utilisation reporting, and audit readiness.Own regulatory and compliance automation covering quarterly settlement, dormant/inactive account management, CTCL empanelment, and exchange/depository requirements across NSE, BSE, MCX, CDSL, and NSDL, ensuring timely implementation of SEBI circulars and exchange-driven regulatory changes.Act as Product Owner for back-office and RMS modules across vendor-led trading platforms such as ODIN, OMNESYS, OMNI NEST, or equivalent systems, managing vendor coordination, patches, upgrades, deployments, release planning, functional testing, UAT, and build-vs-buy evaluations.Translate business and operational pain points into BRDs, functional specifications, user stories, process flows, acceptance criteria, and success metrics, while driving delivery across Operations, Risk, Compliance, Technology, and external vendors.Partner with HODs and senior stakeholders to review automation progress, risk events, compliance posture, and adoption, while driving process improvement through training, documentation, and stakeholder engagement.
Requirements
4–6 years of total experience, including at least 2 years in a stock broking or capital markets organization in Operations, RMS, Product Management, or Business Analysis.Experience in RMS/back-office operations at a broking firm, product management/business analysis for trading or back-office platforms, or working with trading-system vendors/fintechs focused on broking technology.Strong understanding of Indian stock broking operations, including BOD/EOD, settlements, margins, RMS, and front-office/back-office platforms.Working knowledge of Equity, Derivatives/F&O, Commodity, and Currency markets, along with familiarity with SEBI regulations, exchange circulars, and broker compliance requirements.Strong understanding of risk concepts including MTM, exposure limits, margin shortfalls, collateral management, ASM, and GSM.Ability to own a product roadmap end-to-end, from requirement discovery and prioritisation through delivery, UAT, implementation, and adoption.Strong documentation and business analysis skills, including BRDs, functional specifications, user stories, process flow diagrams, acceptance criteria, and success metrics.Hands-on experience in UAT planning and execution for back-office, RMS, or trading platform releases.Comfortable working in Agile environments with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, or equivalent platforms.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage technical teams, business stakeholders, vendors, Risk, Operations, and Compliance teams.Strong analytical and logical thinking with the ability to structure ambiguous problems, identify operational risks and process gaps proactively, and drive solutions independently.Collaborative team player capable of working cross-functionally across Operations, Technology, Risk, Compliance, and external vendors.
