Key Responsibilities
Application Support
Provide day-to-day operational support for specialised high-volume / high-value applications. Diagnose and resolve technical faults within agreed service levels. Support and enable application upgrades and releases.
Process Discipline
Apply structured incident, problem, and change management practices. Participate in User Acceptance Testing activities. Work within the SDLC, coordinating with development and release teams.
Customer & Stakeholder Engagement
Maintain customer satisfaction through clear, timely communication. Liaise with suppliers and employees at all levels of the organisation. Operate effectively on client sites where required.
Required Skills
Technical — Essential
Strong working knowledge of Unix or Linux server platforms. Understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC). Experience applying disciplined IT incident, problem, and change management. Previous experience in User Acceptance Testing.
Technical — Desirable
Industry experience in Telco or CRM/marketing environments.
Professional / Behavioural — Essential
Excellent customer service focus and orientation. Ability to deal effectively with suppliers and employees at all levels. Proactive with a strong work ethic. Qualifications
Relevant tertiary qualification in Information Technology or Computer Science. Minimum 1 year of Development Operations Support experience, ideally including client-site exposure.
