About Role

As a Communications & PR Associate in the Communications team (within the Marketing team), You will work on such problem statements as how to drive awareness for new businesses/categories, how to amplify the impact of Urban Company on gig workers’ lives and how Urban Company’s services are making lives easy for modern-day consumers, among others.

You will play a critical role in every aspect of the communication development process - from figuring out the messaging to identifying the right platforms for dissemination to assessing the campaign’s success.

You will be responsible for the development and execution of the corporate communications and stakeholder engagement strategy and operational plan. You will identify and build relationships with key external stakeholders, be their first port of call and define the best ways to communicate with them across a range of platforms to achieve awareness and build reputation. You will also identify and work with key internal stakeholders to identify and deliver communication tools that will assist them in their work to raise the reputation of the organisation.Your work will push you to be highly creative, reimagine existing processes, manage work in a fast-growing and chaotic environment and have a high quality bar. You will need to work with Business Leaders, Technology Team, Partner Success Team and Creative Team to be able to develop comprehensive PR & Communication strategies.

What you’ll do

PR - IndiaPrepare regional media plans in accordance with business requirements and focus areasDefine strategy, activities and associated success metrics for UC in IndiaEstablish UC as a great place to work for partners and employees that enables them tounlock their potentialDevelop and manage communications strategy to support the delivery of organisational strategy and messaging to key stakeholders (including partners)Prepare PR collateral such as media briefs, press releases and presentationsTrack and maintain campaign reports to understand the effectiveness of content & PR efforts and optimise where neededLiaise with the company’s Customer Support & ORM teamsCoordinate with internal & external teams

What we need

Professionals with 3+ years of experience in PR, Communications and related rolesBachelor’s Degree in English, Journalism or any related fieldImpeccable research, writing, editing and grammar skills, and attention to detailExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to run PR campaigns that deliver measurable resultsAbility to think creatively & strategically as well as prioritise & plan effectivelyWillingness to adapt to situations and don many hats
