Position Description

PAR Technology has an exciting opportunity for an ambitious accounting professional to join its growing corporate controllership function. The Senior Accountant, Commercial Accounting, will play a crucial role in building a world-class accounting team. Position Location: Jaipur/Gurugram

Reports To: Senior Manager, Commercial Accounting

What We’re Looking For:

· Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business (CPA and/or MBA preferred)

· 3-5 years of accounting experience, preferably within a SaaS or technology company

· Strong accounting and finance fundamentals with excellent analytical, problem-solving, and business partnering skills

· Passion for leveraging data to drive decision-making and connect operational metrics to financial outcomes

· Exceptional organizational skills with strong attention to detail

· Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including complex formulas, financial modeling, and data analysis

· Experience using AI-powered tools such as Microsoft Copilot, Claude, or similar platforms to improve productivity and workflows

· Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment while managing multiple priorities

· Strong knowledge of US GAAP or IFRS, preferred

· Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365, Planful and Workiva a plus

Unleash your potential: What you will be doing and owning:

· Play a key role in the day-to-day management of the company's global commercial accounting function

· Support the monthly close process for the company's SaaS product lines, ensuring timely, accurate, and well-controlled financial reporting

· Prepare account reconciliations, journal entries, and technical accounting analyses

· Drive continuous improvement initiatives across accounting processes, controls, and close activities

· Leverage AI tools and automation to streamline workflows and enhance operational efficiency

· Support SEC reporting requirements, including preparation of footnotes and other disclosures

· Contribute to special projects, process enhancements, and scaling initiatives as the organization grows
