You should apply if you have:

Strong expertise in modern frontend technologies, with the ability to architect, design, and deliver scalable, high-performance user interfaces.

Experience leading frontend initiatives, mentoring engineers, and enforcing best practices in UI architecture, performance, testing, and code quality.

Hands-on experience with React.js and Next.js, building complex, production-grade web applications, including SSR, SSG, ISR, and the App Router / React Server Components.

Solid understanding of frontend system design: state management, component architecture, data fetching and caching strategies, routing, and API integrations.

Experience building or maintaining a design system or shared component library (e.g., with Storybook), in close collaboration with Design.

A deep understanding of browser fundamentals: the rendering pipeline, the event loop, network behaviour, caching (HTTP, service workers, CDN), and memory management.

Proven experience improving Core Web Vitals (LCP, INP, CLS) and measuring performance with tools like Lighthouse, WebPageTest, and Chrome DevTools.

Experience working closely with backend teams to design clean, efficient, and scalable frontend–backend contracts (REST and/or GraphQL).

A strong testing mindset, with experience writing unit, integration, and end-to-end tests.

Familiarity with mobile-first and responsive design principles, and with cross-browser and cross-device compatibility.

Exposure to React Native for building or maintaining cross-platform mobile applications is a strong plus.

Experience working in cloud-based environments (preferably AWS) and collaborating within CI/CD-driven teams.

A product mindset with a strong focus on performance, usability, accessibility, and business impact, including experience with analytics, A/B testing, and feature flags.

An ownership-driven attitude: you care about the quality of what ships, not just the tickets you close.

You should not apply if you:

Prefer working only on UI implementation without caring about architecture or long-term maintainability.

Are not comfortable writing production-level code while guiding junior engineers.

Avoid ownership of frontend performance, reliability, or UX issues.

See testing, accessibility, or performance as "someone else's job."

Are uncomfortable in a fast-paced, startup-like environment with evolving requirements.

Dislike code reviews, documentation, or cross-team collaboration with Product, Design, and QA.

Frontend

What will you do?

Lead frontend architecture, design, and development of key product features.

Own the end-to-end frontend lifecycle, from technical design documents (RFCs) to deployment and post-release improvements.

Collaborate closely with Product Managers and Designers to convert business requirements into high-quality, accessible user experiences.

Build and evolve a shared design system and component library used across products.

Define and enforce frontend best practices, including component design, state management, performance budgets, testing standards, and accessibility.

Drive code reviews, technical discussions, and mentorship within the frontend team, and take part in hiring and interviewing.

Optimize rendering performance, bundle size, caching, and API usage for low-latency, high-throughput experiences.

Set up and monitor frontend observability (error tracking, real-user monitoring, performance dashboards) and lead the resolution of production issues.

Work with backend and DevOps teams to ensure smooth releases, safe rollouts via feature flags, and production stability.

Enable experimentation through A/B testing and analytics instrumentation.

Contribute to long-term frontend strategy, tooling decisions, tech-debt management, and roadmap planning.

Help scale frontend systems and team processes as the platform and user base grow.

Work Experience:

5-7 years of experience in frontend or full-stack development with a strong frontend focus.

1-2+ years in a senior individual contributor role (SDE-III) or technical leadership capacity.

A proven track record of shipping and scaling React/Next.js applications in production.

Experience building consumer-facing, high-traffic, or e-commerce platforms preferred.
