Position Summary

Nestlé is looking for an experienced Regional Benefits Senior Expert to join our Total Rewards team. This role will provide functional expertise and strategic support for the review, design and implementation of employee benefits programmes across multiple European markets.

Working closely with Market Total Rewards teams and regional and global stakeholders, you will help ensure that our benefits programmes remain competitive, cost-effective, compliant and valued by employees. You will also contribute to regional and global benefits transformation projects involving digitalisation, vendor optimisation, financial wellbeing and benefits transparency.

A Day in the Life of a Regional Benefits Senior Expert

Provide functional guidance for the design, review and implementation of employee benefits plans across European markets. Partner with Group Pensions, Group Risk Services and Market Total Rewards teams to support talent attraction, engagement and retention. Monitor programme costs and financial risks, identifying opportunities related to plan design, investment strategy and benefits utilisation. Support clear and engaging employee communications, including web content, videos, brochures and educational materials. Translate complex benefits topics into practical and understandable guidance for non-technical audiences. Help maintain compliance with internal controls, benefits guidelines, tax requirements, social security regulations and applicable labour laws. Coordinate regional benefits benchmarking and help markets assess competitive positioning, external trends and potential corrective actions. Support the selection and optimisation of insurance, consulting and benefits administration partners. Contribute to global provider implementation, benefits technology platforms, automation initiatives, EU Pay Transparency requirements and international mobility policy changes.

Deployment of a global flexible benefits solution across markets. Automation of benefits reviews in partnership with NBS and People Analytics. Migration and change management for a new benefits management platform. Expansion of benefits communication at key employee moments. Financial wellbeing initiatives and global benefits reviews. Benefits implications of international medical plans and expatriate policy implementation. Continued optimisation of benefits vendors, governance and compliance frameworks.

What Will Make You Successful

At least eight years of experience managing employee benefits processes and programmes. Strong in-market experience within Nestlé or another organisation, with practical functional and operational benefits knowledge. Experience designing, reviewing or implementing employee benefits plans. Good understanding of local employment laws and labour regulations. Experience developing and using KPIs and benefits-related metrics. Strong benchmarking, data analysis and insight-generation capabilities. Advanced Excel skills and the ability to use data to recommend benefits actions and decisions. Experience managing and negotiating with benefits, insurance or consulting vendors. Finance and tax knowledge would be an advantage. Previous experience supporting multiple countries or markets would be highly valuable.

You will collaborate with Market and Zone Total Rewards teams, Market HR leaders, Finance, IT, Corporate Total Rewards, Group Risk Services, the Group Pension Unit, procurement teams and other regional and global partners. Externally, you will engage with insurance providers, third-party administrators, HR consultants and professional Total Rewards networks.
