Full job description

Key ResponsibilitiesProgramme Planning and ExecutionBuild and maintain the integrated plan across all unification workstreams, phases and entities.Hold the critical path - know what must land first and what is slipping.Drive delivery of each phase to its committed dates.Define and track readiness and go-live gates.Run unification planning end to end, including rollback and contingency plans.Dependencies, Risks and DecisionsTrack cross-entity dependencies actively, including but not limited to API readiness, data, compliance sign-offs, and escalate early rather than late.Maintain a live risk and issue register, each with a named owner, a mitigation and a date.Maintain the open-decision log, chase decisions to closure, and make the cost of an unmade decision visible.Governance and CadenceRun the programme governance: steering forums and working groups, with sharp agendas, pre-reads and clear actions.Prepare leadership and steering updates that lead with the decision needed, not the activity completed.Hold owners to their commitments across organisations, and follow through between forums.Keep one shared, transparent view of programme status that everyone works from.Cross-Entity CoordinationAct as the single point of coordination between Airtel Finance, Airtel Payments Bank and Airtel Money Limited teams across product, engineering, growth, data, risk and compliance.Build the working relationship itself with trust and cadence across organisations.Required Skills and Experience8+ years of overall experience, including at least 3 years running complex, cross-functional programmes end to end.Proven experience delivering a large programme with hard dependencies across multiple teams or organisations.Strong structured thinking - able to break an ambiguous charter into a plan with owners, sequence and dates.Credible with business, product and engineering leaders; comfortable discussing growth plans, APIs, migrations and technical dependencies without needing translation.Able to influence and hold people to commitments without formal authority over them.Excellent written communication, and able to produce leadership-ready updates that are short and decision-led.Fluent with programme tooling, and able to build a clean plan and dashboard.Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business or a related field; an MBA is useful but not required.
