Full job description

1. Manage the overall marketing function of the region assigned with reporting to GM Marketing.2. Handling all marketing communication requirements of cinemas in the region.

Responsibilities

1. Planning & Execution of marketing strategies to achieve short and long-term company goals.

2. Marketing calendar & promotion Management: I. Creating and implementing an annual marketing calendar for the region (AOP) II. Plan & execute new and renovated cinema launches III. Suggest innovative promotions to drive customer engagement & brand visibility IV. Film Promotions: Driving in Experiential and Innovative Marketing Campaign with the support of the studios to get incremental footfalls V. Special Format Promotions- Periodic promotions of the formats in the region and track the admission numbers and take correct course of action for increasing the admits in the formats VI. Brand Properties & Film Festivals: Plan periodic curated promotions to give patrons a unique movie watching experience and increase admits VII. Track performance numbers for every promotion & brand properties in the region and take measures to ensure good ROI VIII. Have conversations with the Zonal Heads and Cinema Managers to understand the challenges faced at the cinema level and provide effective marketing strategies and solutions to overcome them. IX. Coordinate with marketing teams of other regions as well as corporate office to discuss ideas and initiatives that can help improve the overall performance of the brand.I. LAM (Local Area Marketing): USPs & Price promotions of low performing cinemas with the objective to improve its performance. Maintain good relations with mall management to obtain highly visible spaces for PVR brand communication II. Event Management: Handling all events from start to finish (theatre launches, movie premieres, Advance Screenings, trailer launches, audio launches etc.)

2. Cinema Branding I. Ensure effective & update cinema branding in accordance with guidelines shared by corporate II. Ensuring the design quality and production of print materials and publications III. Enhance Customer Experience at cinemas – offer premium experience beyond movies

3. F&B Marketing: I. Effective new launch promotion of F&B offerings II. Review look & feel of Candy bar menu & collateral display and take required actions III. New & Innovative ideas to enhance the overall F&B offering and its communication to the guests IV. Take proactive marketing actions to meet the Targets

4. Alliances & Partnerships: Increase brand salience through building effective partnerships with TV Channels, Print, OOH and Radio for brand visibility and cross promotions.

5. Vendor development & Cost efficiency: I. Developing and implementing business plans to improve cost-efficiency of the department II. Overseeing bills and ensuring marketing spends are justified. III. Keep effective controls on budgets, including vendor development & cost management. IV. Implement processes to improve efficiencies & cost control

6. Partnerships, Teamwork & Liaising : I. Maintaining positive and trust-based relations with production houses, distributors and other business partners. II. Liaison with the programming team to bring in alternate content and a library for brand properties & film festivals III. Desired & timely support to other depts. – ability to manage multiple projects at a time

7. Team Management I. Supervising the duties being executed by the team on timely basis II. Assessing, managing, and resolving problematic developments and situations. III. Supervising, guiding, and delegating executives in their duties. IV. Ensuring company policies and legal guidelines are clearly communicated.
